$10,000 donated to Veterans Home from sale of bird houses

The bird houses sold in the County Clerk’s offices throughout Kentucky are made from left over license plates.  All of the money collected is donated to the three Veterans home in Kentucky according to Livingston County Clerk Sonya Williams. 

“We were proud to take a check for $10,000 to the Veterans Home in Hopkinsville.  I was joined by Sarah DeFew, the Lyon County Clerk and other County Clerks from western Kentucky.  The entire $20 purchase price is donated by each County Clerk.
