Ruben Rudell Inman, 92, of Clinton died at 11:23 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. He was a World War II Army veteran, a Purple Heart recipient, a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and a retired carpenter. He is survived by one son, John Lynn Inman of Parkers Crossroad, Tennessee; two daughters, Cathy Koss of Shepardsville and Lori Verble of EL Paso, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Phillips Inman; one son, Phillip Inman; and two brothers. His parents were John and Rachel Miller Inman. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton. The Rev. Vida McClure will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Dr. Glenn Richard Noss Sr., 89, of Paducah passed away Tuesday morning, May 3rd, at Lourdes hospital. He was a resident of Superior Care Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Ellen Johnson Noss; three sons, Glenn Richard Noss Jr. and wife, Gina of Paducah, Dr. James Wesley Noss and wife, Joan of Versailles, Kentucky, Patrick Lee Noss and wife, Sherry of West Paducah; one daughter, Carolyn Noss Nichols of Tucker, Georgia; and six grandchildren, Patti Slankard of Paducah and Kevin Record of Kevil, Michael and Matthew Noss of Versailles, Kentucky, Elizabeth Ward of Nashville, Tennessee, and Mary Rhea of Birmingham, Alabama. He is also survived by a sister, Vera Noss Hewitt of Dayton, Ohio, and her husband, Elder Herbert Hewitt; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wesley Noss of Nashville, Tennessee; and two brothers, Raymond Noss of Nashville, Tennessee, and Virgil Noss of Paris, Tennessee. Public visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, May 6th; and again from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, May 7th, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Paducah with Dr. J. Wesley Noss officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Kenton Cemetery. Dr. Noss's Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Paducah and the McCracken County Medical Society are serving as honorary pallbearers. Henry Eugene Nangle, 98, of Westfield, Indiana, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Kroeff and husband Gene; his granddaughter, Maggie Kroeff, all of Carmel, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mary Margaret; his son, Henry Thomas Nangle; and his sisters, Sister Catherine Maria, SCN, and Nellie Nangle Roof. Henry was a wonderful husband and father and a devoted friend to all who knew him. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah, Kentucky. Father Michael Charles Ajigo Abiero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, prior to the Funeral Mass. Phil Hook, 64, of Kevil died Monday, May 2, 2016, at his home. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Myra Hook; and four sons, Shane Hook of Paducah, Samuel Hook of Nashville, Tennessee, Andrew Hook of Louisville, and Ty Schleisman of Cincinnati, Ohio. His parents were Dennis F. and Lynda Stafford Hook. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Rodney Hill officiating.
