Taylor Case Smith, 19, of Bardwell, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013.Taylor was a 2012 graduate of Carlisle County High School and a graduate of the North American Lineman Training Center in McEwen, Tenn. He was a member of Bardwell Church of Christ where he served as the song leader. He also was a counselor at the West Kentucky Youth Camp in Marion.He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Susan (Case) Smith; sisters, Brooke Smith of Mayfield and Kaitlyn Smith of Bardwell; brother, Mark Smith of Possum Trot; paternal grandparents, Rozella and the late Wilson Young of Bardwell; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Nancy Case of Bardwell.Funeral services for Taylor Case Smith were held Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Bardwell Church of Christ with Michael Trivette officiating. Burial followed in Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell. Jane E. Blair, 80, of Barlow died at 11:03 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Merrell Blair; one daughter, Rita Vance of Wickliffe; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one brother and two great-grandchildren. Her parents were Irene and Jesse Curtis.Services were held Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. William Culp officiating. Burial followed at Barlow Cemetery.
Paitrella “Pat” Dulworth, 92, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013, at New Haven Assisted Living in Kevil. She was born July 25, 1921, to Phelps and Elizabeth Unsell Norment in Wickliffe.She was a lifelong resident of Ballard County and was a member of Bandana Baptist Church. She volunteered at the Paducah Quilt Museum for 20 years.She is survived by one son, Toby Dulworth (Deborah) of Bandana; one daughter, Sharon Dershimer of West Paducah; three grandchildren, Quinton Dulworth (Rebecca) of Nashville, Rachel Woolen (Andrew) of La Center, and Shane Dershimer (Christy) of Loganville, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren, Sullivan Dulworth, River Woolen, Cyrus Woolen, and Preston Dershimer.She was preceded in death by her parents, Phelps and Elizabeth Unsell Norment; her husband, Vernon Tobe Dulworth; and one brother, Joe Al Norment. Visitation for Pat Dulworth was Sunday, August 4, 2013, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of La Center. Funeral services fllowed with the Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Joseph Howard Rundles Sr., 69, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, Virginia. Born January 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Gilbert Rundles Sr. and Ruby (Wallace) Rundles. He was married to Daisy Belle Harris-Rundles, who survives. He was of the Pentecostal and Baptist faith and was a retired ironworker. In addition, he is survived by one son Kenneth Joe (Lisa) Rundles of Lovelaceville, KY, one daughter Tina May Rundles (Bryan) Klein of Wickliffe, KY: two brothers, Gilbert Rundles Jr. of East Prairie, MO. and Thomas Rundles of Florida. Other survivors include 5 grandchildren, Sabrina Jo Rundles (Michael) Parker of Cairo, IL, Crystal Harris of Wickliffe, KY, Brandon Rundles of Paducah, KY, and Chase Rundles of Lovelaceville, KY; 3 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Payten, and Aramani Harris all of Wickliffe, KY; one uncle, Charlie (Melba) Wallace of Cairo, IL and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son PFC Marine Joseph Howard Rundles Jr. and three brothers Earl Rundles, Donald Rundles and Jerry Rundles all of Cairo, IL.
