Jane Carrigan, 65, died at 8:46 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at her home. She was a member of Lovelaceville Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Downs of Kevil and Susan Anderson of North Carolina; three sons, Tracy Draper of Lovelaceville, Eric Folsom of Paducah and Joe Downs of Berkley; one sister, Joann Heath of Lovelaceville; one brother, Johnny Carrigan of Florida; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private services will be at a later date. Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of the arrangements.
George William Neuhausel, 81, of Paducah and Gilbertsville, Ky. (Kentucky Lake), died at 12:28 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Superior Care Home in Paducah. He was born in Bandana, Ky. on September 2, 1932, to George Henry and Nina Alberta Jones Neuhausel. George was a 1950 graduate of Blandville High School where he played basketball, was the class valedictorian and later attended Murray State College. He was an Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War in French Morocco and various places in the United States. George was a retired construction superintendent for Lucas and Sons Construction, Inc., in Calvert City, Ky. He was a faithful member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church where he was a deacon emeritus, taught Sunday School for over 40 years and served as chairman or a member of many committees, including co-chairman of the building committee. His love for fishing was legendary as was his fish fries that were enjoyed by family and friends. He was an avid small game hunter and a UK Wildcats fan. George was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant sister, Margaret Anne Neuhausel. Surviving him are his wife of 46 years, Janet Ivana Clayton Neuhausel of Paducah; two daughters, Rhonda Elaine Neuhausel Doores (Lynn) of Sedalia and Patti Gail Neuhausel Richmond of Mayfield; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Visitation was held Saturday, June 28, 2014, with a celebration of life service following at Twelve Oaks Baptist Church, 2110 New Holt Road, Paducah, with Rev. Louis Brinker and Rev. Brandt Lyon officiated. Entombment was at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Robbie Harris, age 58, died at her home in Barlow Tuesday morning, June 24, 2014. She was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church. Robbie is survived by one son, Bruce Harris of Birmingham, Alabama; one daughter, D'Sha Gossom of Barlow; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Gossom and Addy Gossom of Barlow; two brothers, Robert Warford Jr. of Evansville, Indiana, and Grant Mitchell of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Kathy Eagleson of Jackson, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Betty Turner Warford Wray; and one sister, Connie Crass.
