Oneta Richards, 93, of Kevil died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Metropolis Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Arrangements were incomplete at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Bryan "Boonie" Hudson, 86, of La Center died at 2:06 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at his home. Arrangements were incomplete at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

James F. "Head" Connell Jr., 82, of Mounds died Friday, May 8, 2015, at his home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2015, at St. Patrick Church in Cairo with the Rev. Chris Mujule officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mounds with military honors. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2015, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m, and from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, at Crain Funeral Home in Cairo. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Wounded Warriors or The Allie Byrd Foundation Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Virginia Khourie, 91, of Cairo, formerly of Fulton, Kentucky, died at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She formerly worked at Khourie Brothers in downtown Cairo and was a member of Mighty Rivers Regional Worship Center in Cairo. She is survived by three children, Fred W. Khourie of Cairo, Michael L. Khourie of Mounds, and Kimberly A. Khourie Potts of Mounds; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Khourie; two brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were Alexander M. Khourie and Tamam Lily Khourie. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Mighty Rivers Regional Worship Center in Cairo, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Dr. Larry L. Potts will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge. Jones Funeral Home Villa Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.

James Scott, 54, of Brookport died Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Arrangements were incomplete at Brookport Funeral Home.

John Tyler Dike, age 17, died at his home in Barlow, Tuesday morning at 12:06 a.m. John was a sophmore at Ballard Memorial High School. He was a member of Oscar Baptist Church. He is survived by his Mother Sannon Carter of Barlow, his Father John Dike of Paducah. Grandparents Mike and Kathy Ryan of Bandana, Janet and Wayne Johnson of Cunningham, Ky. and John Wayne Dike of Georgia. Two half sisters Trinity Dike of Tennessee, and Adrian Toy of West Paducah, Ky. Several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. John was preceded in death by his Grandmother Sharon Ann Skabo and Uncle Michael Nolan Ryan and Aunt Karen Hartnett. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m with the Rev. Ryan Baker officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 11:00 a.m. at Barlow Baptist Church. Lillie Pearl Lewis, age 26, died Sunday, May 10, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Lillie was a member of the Class of 2007 at Ballard Memorial High School and received her GED to complete her requirements for graduation. Lillie is survived by her mother, Angilina Shaw of LaCenter, her father, Bobby Tucker of Cario, IL; and one son, Ayden Levelle Lewis of Barlow. She is also survived by her grandmother, Lucille Tucker of Cairo, IL and her grandfather, Larry Wiggins of Cairo, IL. She is survived by five brothers; Larry Tucker of Barlow, Bobby Tucker of La Center, Deandre Lewis of LaCenter, Bobby Pruitt of Cario, IL and Brandon Childs of Kansas City, MO; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Lillie Lewis will be Saturday, May 16 at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter beginning at 12 noon until 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Rodney Hill officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter.
