Gene E. Hall, age 54, died at his home in Kevil Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Gene was a member of the House of Prayer, he was employed by Paducah Heating & Air and Dale's Heating & Air. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Suzanne ( Poochie) Hall of Kevil, one son Mikey Hall of Kevil, Ky. two daughters Crystal Ross of LaCenter, Ky. and Kimberly Hall of Kevil. Three brothers Jesse Hall of Kevil, Jimmy Hall of Kevil and Ted Hall of Brighton, Illinois. Three Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Gene was preceded in death by one brother Tommy Hall and his parents Jesse and Barbara Ruth Solomon Crabtree, and his stepfather Gene Crabtree. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Billy Dale Crabtree and the Rev. Dale Herrell officiating. Billy Eugene Gibson, age 59, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at his home. Mr. Gibson was a member of the American Rifle Association, a former member of Bethel Pentecostal Church and Southside Holiness Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his two sisters, Marjorie Gibson Duncan of Marquand, Missouri, and Marilyn Whitney and husband Gary of Owensboro, Kentucky; two brothers, Albert Baker Jr. of Paducah, Kentucky, and Steve Crouch and wife Sherrie of Paducah, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Davis Gibson and Mary Edna Gibson; one brother, Gary Baker. A memorial service was held on Monday, June 22, 2015, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jeff Hartman and the Rev. Larry Starnes officiating. Mary Edna Gibson, age 83, of Paducah, passed away at 11:55 p.m. on June 18, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Bethel Pentecostal Church and retired from the Ramada Inn in Paducah. She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Gibson Duncan of Marquand, Missouri, and Marilyn Whitney and husband, Gary of Owensboro, Kentucky; two sons, Albert Baker Jr. of Paducah, Kentucky, and Steve Crouch and wife, Sherrie of Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Marie Galloway of Florida, and Alice Hill of Smithland, Kentucky; two brothers, Robbie Lee of Paducah, Kentucky, and Bobby Lee of Joppa, Illinois; five grandchildren, Renikka Bates, Angela May, MarLena Frizzell Moss, Megan Newman and Kevin A. Little; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Davis Gibson; parents, Clint McElmurry and Hallie Baker James; and two sons, Gary Baker and Billy Gibson. Donald Wayne Hughes (Chigger), age 73, of La Center died Tuesday morning, June 16, 2015, at 2:29 a.m. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. Chigger was a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He retired from trucking and was an Army veteran. He was an avid golfer and he loved the Ballard County Country Club. He loved people and you could find him any day at the Bluegrass Restaurant or Rex Powell's Service Center in La Center. He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Gayle Hogan of La Center, and her two children and five grandchildren; three daughters, Dana Smith of Oran, Missouri, Dena Tolbert of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Donya Wheat of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Chigger was preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Hughes; and his parents, R.A. and Valeine Jett Hughes. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Drew Gray and Rex Powell officiating. Martha Elias, 88, of Cairo died at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Heritage Manor in Mayfield, Kentucky. Martha was born December 1, 1926, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Cecil and Hilda Marie (Lange) Morrison. She married Sam Elias Jr. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of Mighty Rivers Regional Worship Center. Survivors include her three sons, Don (Cathy) Elias of Murray, Kentucky, Steve (Jane) Elias of Paducah, Kentucky, Robert (Emma) Elias of Fulton, Kentucky; grandchildren, Shannon Elias, Jaclyn Calhoun, Joseph Elias, Adam Elias, Jeremy Elias, Nick Elias and Link Hicks; great-grandchildren, Gideon Elias, Gabriel Elias, Blakelee Elias, Layla Elias and Fayeth Calhoun; brother, Joe (Ann) Gupton of Murray, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; and her parents. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 20that Mighty Rivers Regional Worship Center with the Rev. Larry Potts officiating. Interment followed at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
