William Keeling, age 80, died Monday morning, September 14, 2015, at 2:15 a.m. at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. William retired as Chief Detective for the city of Paducah. He trained at FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He was an avid Outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shirley Keeling of Barlow, Ky.; his Mother, Opal Cooper of Belleville, Illinois; two daughters, Paula Bell and her husband, Brian of Paducah and their son, Reese; and Sara Wade and her husband, John and daughter, Madison of Louisville, Ky. William was preceded in death by his father, Bud Keeling. Visitation will be Thursday morning after 9:30 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center, Ky. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Services will be followed by a private family interment. Meldrea Grable, age 96, died on Monday morning at 4:15 a.m. at Life Care Center in La Center. Meldrea was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved to go fishing. She is survived by Two Stepchildren in Alton, Illinois, Phillip and Gerry Grable. Two Daughters-in-Law, Peggy Carter of La Center and Diane Carter of Lone Oak, Ky. Five Grandchildren, Lisa Franks of Barlow, Ky., Michael Carter of Barlow, Gary Carter of Barlow, Susan Cate of Jonestown, Texas, and Brian Carter of Benton, Ky. Five Great-Grandchildren, Krista Kidd of Wickliffe, April Carter of Barlow, Keri Stewart of La Center, Abigail Cate of Jonestown, Texas, and Spencer Cate of Jonestown, Texas. Three Great-Great-Grandchildren, Eli Kidd of Wickliffe, Summer Carter of La Center, and Ethan Kidd of Wickliffe. Meldrea was preceded in death by her three sons, Frankie, Ronnie and Jimmy Carter; six brothers; one sister; her first husband, Orville Gibson Carter; her second husband, Warren W. Grable and her parents, Frank and Mary Ruth Jennings. Visitation was held Tuesday Evening at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center, Ky. Graveside Services were held Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Horn officiating. Interment followed services at Antioch Cemetery. Curtis Epps, 53, of Kevil died at 7:40 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah. Funeral arrangements were currently incomplete at Milner & Orr Funeral Home located in Paducah

Memorial services for Evangeline Tucker, 48, will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015, at La Center First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Releford officiating. Ms. Tucker died at 5:38 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015, at her home in Mounds, Illinois. She was of the Christian faith and had been employed at La Center Life Care for 16 years as a nursing assistant. She is survived by two sons, Brandon Fitzgerald of La Center and Brian Tucker of Bowling Green; one brother, Greg Fitzgerald of Mounds, Illinois; two sisters, Christin Shreve of Mounds, Illinois, and Jackie Galloway of Benton, Illinois; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Morrow Funeral Chapel of La Center is in charge of arrangements.

Nathan Shawn Rutherford, 52, of Kevil died at 6:26 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015, at his home. Mr. Rutherford was a welder with Precision Steel Co. Surviving are three sons, Dylan Rutherford of Louisville, Silas Rutherford of Farmington and Adam Rutherford of Paducah; one brother, Robin C. Rutherford of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Rutherford; and his mother, Faye Sweeney. Services were held Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial followed at McKendree Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
