Wanda "Kay" Green, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at the age of 73.

She is survived by her three children: Kim Kelley (Larry) of Bardwell, Keenan Terry (Kelley) of Auburn, Alabama, and Amy Green of Paducah. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Kelly Todd, Ashley Kick, Luke Terry, Nick Burns, and Jack Terry; four great-grandchildren: Hunter Todd, Parker Todd. Avery Kick, and Karter Kick; and two sisters: Jean Long and Patricia Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Green; her parents, Homer and Ethellee Jones; and her brother, Michael David Jones.

Born in Bardwell in 1942, she lived her entire life in the Wickliffe-Bardwell community and she treasured her family and the many life-long friends that supported her.

Most of her career was spent as the Wickliffe City Clerk where she was honored to serve for more than twenty years. Her friendly, unassuming manner and dedication to her work made her a beloved and respected public servant. The many relationships made there were some of her most cherished.

Primarily, she was a committed Christian and a life-long member of the Bardwell Church of Christ.

Services for Ms. Kay will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with the Rev. Michael Trivette officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

WICKLIFFE - James William "Jimmy" Haynes, 68, of Wickliffe died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Mr. Haynes was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wickliffe. He retired from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and was a Navy Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by wife, Edna Peeler Haynes of Barlow; four daughters, Amy Bradford of St. Louis, Malissa Haynes of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Angelita Showalter of Kevil and Halie Gaskins of Barlow; two sons, Donald William Haynes of La Center and Joe Bommarito of Wickliffe; three sisters, Anita Edwards of Wickliffe, Sherri Ray of Kevil and Carla Yarbrough of Lovelaceville; one brother, Donald Joe Haynes of Barlow; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were William Gordon and Gracealine Hughes Haynes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.

The Rev. Dee Hazelwood will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Wickliffe.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the funeral home.

Henry "Bud" Gollon, 87, of West Paducah died Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Lourdes hospital.

Mr. Gollon was a retired Paducah policeman and a member of the Paducah Fraternal Order of Police. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of La Center.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, Tony Herndon of Paducah; one daughter, Julie Mudd of Paducah; one sister, Aldeane Nordon of Jackson, Missouri; two grandchildren; and one nephew.

His parents were John Henry and Jessie Craver.

Services including Paducah Police Honor Guard was held on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Michael Charles will officiate.

Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.


Lawrence Bufford Jr., 74, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 10:53 a.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital.

He was born in Benton, Kentucky. Lawrence was retired from the United States Postal Service where he was a letter carrier. He served in the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.

Lawrence was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Younker Bufford of Paducah, Kentucky; sons, John H. Bufford and wife Wendy of Paducah, Kentucky, and Billy Bufford of Olive, Kentucky; brother, Bobby Joe Bufford and wife Barbara of Meriden, Kansas; grandchildren, Hannah Bufford, Paul Bufford, Jordan Bufford, Blake Turner and Jared Turner; the most wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence W. Bufford and Attie York Bufford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Whistle officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

Ronald Douglas Burrows, 72, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:59 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Baptist Health Paducah.

He retired as a fire captain and was a member of Central Church of Christ. He was also a member of American Legion Post 31. His companions were Chico and Toby.

Ronald is survived by one son, Ronald D. Burrows Jr. and wife JoAnn of Paducah, Kentucky; one brother, Jerry Burrows of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Chris McCutcheon, Jordan McCutcheon, Marcus McCutcheon, Jamie Sutton Burrows, Brandon Sutton Burrows, Heather Sutton Daniels; lifetime friend, Beatrice Cooper; several nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee Burrows "Doc" and Juanita Pryor Burrows; one daughter, Rhonda Ann McCutcheon; and two brothers, John Patrick Burrows, Thomas L. Burrows.

As a request of Mr. Burrows, no visitation or services will be held. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
