Alan Feinstein Foundation $1,000,000 Challenge

The Livingston County Helping Hands Food Pantry has been notified that the Alan Feinstein Foundation has issued its 17th Annual $1,000,000 Challenge to participating food pantries. During the months of March and April the Feinstein Foundation will match donations, dollar for dollar, received by local food pantries up to $1 million. Mr. Feinstein believes that we are put on this earth to do what we can to help those in need and it is his goal to help hunger fighting agencies to provide for the needs of the communities.

Donations may be canned goods, which will count as $1.00 per can, cash, checks and also pledges. Monetary donations can be mailed to Helping Hands, Inc. PO Box 296 Smithland Kentucky 42081. Please make sure your donation is marked “Feinstein Challenge” to qualify for the matching funds. Canned goods can be brought to Livingston County Helping Hands office at 509 Mill Street Smithland. You may call them at 270-928-3383 for more information.
