Annual PADD Fish Fry held at Columbus Belmont Park

COLUMBUS- The 2013 annual PADD Fish Fry was held Thursday September 26. A large crowd of approximately 260 people including elected officials, PADD Board of Directors, committee members, regional partners, along with state and federal representatives joined together for an afternoon of fellowship and fun at Columbus-Belmont State Park.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal of fried fish and barbecue with all the trimmings, catered by Magic Valley BBQ.
The Purchase Area Development District is a partnership organization and SBA Certified Development Corporation that offers support to city and county governments in the eight-county region of far western Kentucky. They provide opportunities for community leaders to gather, share common concerns, and create innovative approaches to local and regional challenges.
The Purchase ADD is one in a network of 15 area development districts serving the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These districts were formed through state legislation to assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of services. This region includes the counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Marshall, and McCracken.
