Badgett Playhouse opens 2014 Season

Spring is just around the corner and that means the Badgett Playhouse in Grand Rivers has opened the theater for the season. Bill and Sarah Minahan and the cast of talented entertainers are once again planning for this their ninth season of great performances.

The season started February 14 and 15th with the variety! Love Songs show. Then on Saturday night February 22nd they presented their one night, Nashville Songwriters night. On Friday, February 28th they will present the Fabulous 50’s show with all tickets $12.00 plus tax. March will bring the Greater Tuna Show on Friday nights and if Variety! Music Memories and More on Saturday nights.

This year’s shows will include the Fabulous 50’s Show, the 60’s Show, the 70’s Show, The southern Gospel Show, Smoke on the Mountain, Sweethearts of Country Music, The Outlaws of Country Music, Pickin and Grinnin, The Big Bands Show as well as several Christmas shows. New this year will be the 3 Seasons Show, a musical comedy that celebrates the seasons of love from youth to married life to the twilight years of romance.

The performances at Badgett Playhouse are as well performed as any you would see in Branson Missouri or Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
