2014 Livingston County Fair

The 2014 Livingston County Fair is in full swing. Events are scheduled all this week and end on Saturday, July 19th. This year’s Fair truly has something for everyone. The Fair kicked off on Friday July 11th with the Beef and Poultry Show. Saturdays the events included the Sheep and Goat Shows as well as the Beauty Pageant that was held at Livingston County High School gym, at 7:00 PM the Ranch Roundup Arena was held. The Beauty Pageant concluded on Sunday afternoon.

Monday night’s Coca-Cola Talent Search was held in the Livingston County High School gym. On Tuesday the Exhibit and 4-H Art Show participants check in and will begin at 10:00 AM. At 5:00 PM the 4-H Cupcake Wars will begin followed by Family Night at 6:00 PM.

Exhibit judging will begin at noon on Wednesday and Cowboy Church and Gospel singing will begin at 6:30 PM. Thursday’s events will include a 4-H Dog Show at 6:00 PM and at 7:00 PM the Fun Horse Show will be held.
Friday and Saturday events will include a 4-H Bicycle Rodeo, Truck and Tractor Pull, Car Show and Swap Meet, 4-H and FFA Tractor Driving Contests and the Fair will conclude with a mini tractor pull at 6:00 PM.

Family night on Tuesday July 15th will be especially fun for the kids and grownups alike. It will feature a petting zoo, water balloon fight, face painting, Greased Pig Contest, dunking booth, bouncy house and a Back Seat Driving Contest.
Each day will be filled with fun and interesting events for the whole family. Make plans to attend as many events as possible. Entry to the fair is free except there will be a $5.00 gate fee for the Truck and Tractor Pull. Come out and support your Livingston County Fair.
