Bitter Sweet Week for Lady Bombers

The Lady Bombers had a bitter sweet week as they shut down Crittenden County with a score of 4-0 on August 25th only to have the pendulum swing to a 0-10 loss to McCracken County High School the next day.

Ballard Memorial's Laken Hall shut out the Lady Rockets on Crittenden's home turf while senior Kylee Heal and sophomore Erin Young scored two goals each for the Lady Bombers bringing the final score to 4-0.

Following their win, the Lady Bombers went on to play MCHS the next night with a final score much different from the previous contest. Lady Mustangs Maddye Rice and Kye Miller scored 4 goals each while Ashley Zimmerman scored two goals, which brought the final score to 0-10 with the Mustangs taking the win. Lady Mustangs Keirsten Stevens and Kaylyn Telfair split the net to shut out the Lady Bombers.

Laken Hall made eight saves for Ballard Memorial.
