Robert Glynn Perry, 84, of Fulton died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at his granddaughter's home in Union City, Tennessee. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He retired in 1994 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City with 24 years of service, where he worked in maintenance as a pipe-fitter. He was formerly employed at Illinois Central Railroad for 20 years in maintenance and was a member of the Roberts Lodge # 172. He is survived by his wife, Alta Lee Holmes Perry; two daughters, Donna Glynn Tidwell of Nashville,Tennessee, and Melissa Carole House of Hernando, Mississippi; one son, Tim W. Perry of South Fulton, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Williams of Grand Junction, Colorado; and one brother, Chris "Buddy" Perry of Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Teressa Ann Thomas; one sister; one brother; and one grandchild. His parents were Sarah Estella (Ballard) and Tommy Voyd Perry. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with interment n Palestine Cemetery. Becky Sue Moses Blasdel, 62, of Hickman died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah. She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, the former owner of Newton's Jewelry, Flowers and Gifts, and a teacher for 27 years for the Fulton County School System. She is survived by her husband, Tim Blasdel; one son, William Christopher Moses of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Taylor Moses of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Lawton Reece Moses of Dyersburg, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by first husband, David George Moses, and one sister. Her parents were William Leroy and Mary Frances Moses Newton. Victor Burgess, 75, of Beulah died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at his home. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a dog and cattle trader. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hobbs Burgess; one son, Victor R. Burgess of Beulah; and two grandchildren, Courtney and Paidyn Burgess, both of Beulah. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Burgess; one son, Vinson Burgess; and two brothers. His parents were Chester and Vicie Wooley Burgess. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Ian Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Violet Rideout, 84, of Bardwell died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at her home. She was a sales clerk at Paducah Dry Goods and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Paducah. She is survived by four sons, Raymond P. Rideout of Paducah, and Eugene Rideout, Glen Rideout and Vernon Rideout, all of Bardwell; one daughter, Connie Sparks of Metropolis, Ill.; one brother, Leo Eakins of Phoenix; one sister, Deloris Rigsby of Eugene, Oregon; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rideout; two daughters, Cathy Myrick and Sharon Rideout; one son, Michael Rideout; three brothers; and one sister. Her parents were Holloway and Margaret Eakins. Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Corey Aker and Paul Donner officiating.
