Lawrence Patterson, 72, of Chicago, formerly of South Fulton, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Graveside services was at noon Monday, June 1, 2015, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, Ky. Rawls Funeral Home in South Fulton was in charge of arrangements.
Marie "Dolly" Knox, 80, of Clinton died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Knox-Dalton of West Peoria, Illinois, and Janice Price of Paducah; three sons, Cornelius Knox of Clinton, and Danny Knox and Barry Knox, both of Paducah; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Marshall Weatherspoon of Paducah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Knox; two sons, Edward and Reginald Knox; one grandson; three brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were Lois and Lena Crumble Weatherspoon. Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 5954 Ky. 123 West, Oakton, the Rev. Anthony Johnson officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Robert "Butch" Workman, 71, of Arlington died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a retired pipefitter from the former General Tire Company. He is survived by two sons, Bart Workman of Columbia, Tennessee, and David Workman of Fulton; and one grandchild, Audrey-Anne Workman of Columbia, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Odom Workman; and one son, Jody Michael Workman. His parents were Robert Wilson Workman and Daisy Evelyn Hughes Workman. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
