Free Weekend and Poker Run held at Carlisle County Riding Trails

Berkley – On Saturday October 5, a large crowd of ATV and UTV Riders filled the riding trails at the Carlisle County River Trails.

The Carlisle County Trail System provided a free weekend to ATV and UTV riders who would like to ride along the scenic river trails in Carlisle County.  

Also on Saturday riders had the opportunity to participate in a Poker Run starting sponsored by the Indian Camp Campground.

Even with rain coming down it didn’t dampen the spirit of riders who came out to participate in the run.   

Best Hand -$150 went to Tina Massie of Arlington, 2nd Best 1 year Carlisle Co. Riding Trail Permit, went to Ann West of Metropolis, 3rd Weekend at Indian Campground went to Weslie Grubbs  of Graves County, and 4th a weekend pass at Wright’s Arena 252 went to Tammy Rogers of Arlington.

Indian Camp Campground was decorated for fall and filled with campers who not only came to take part in the ride but to enjoy a weekend in the great outdoors and beauty of the river trails.

Michael Bolin stated he appreciates the great crowd that came out and took part in the event and that he is looking forward to having the event again next year. 

The Trail System was started by the Carlisle County Judge Office and requires a permit for all ATV and UTV.
