We used to sing this chorus, "Got any rivers you think are uncrossable? Got any mountains you cannot tunnel through? God Specializes in things thought impossible. He can do what no other power can do!"
Uncrossable rivers, untunneled mountains, and impossible circumstances pretty well describe things that are quite common in this life.
If you haven't found this to be your experience, just hang around, you haven't lived long enough yet. You will someday meet a problem that has no human solution.
When that happens, you will find that God does His most powerful miracles when nothing but a miracle will do.
Scriptures in both Old and New Testament inform us that no situation is beyond God's ability. "Oh, Lord God! Behold, Thou has made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee." (Jeremiah 32:17) "For with God nothing shall be impossible." (Luke 1:37) And He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God". (Luke 18:27)
Our biggest problem is we try to solve our own problems, and only go to the Lord as a last resort. We should begin with prayer.
We find that all our efforts, worries, doubts, and fears are worthless at best and even a hindrance to solving the problem. God will let us hold on to our problems, but it is not His will.
If we will admit our inability and release our problems to Him, we will find He can do what no other power can do.
"Casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you." (I Peter 5:7)
Then we discover a truth we never before understood; "We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
