Not long after this, Senior Abbi Denton scored her second goal of the season. This brought the score to 2-3 at the half with the Mustangs in the lead.
After giving up 7 goals in the second half, Abbi Denton scored her second goal of the evening off of an assist from junior forward Haley Bohn with less than 6 minutes left on the clock. Shortly thereafter, the Mustangs landed their 11th and final goal of the night, bringing the final score to 3-11 with Mustangs taking the win.
