Lady Cardinals spread their wings versus Lady Comets

The Livingston Central Lady Cardinals traveled to Carlisle County for softball action on Monday, April 27.

The Lady Cardinals started off strong with a base hit by Ta. Padon, a double by Leidecker and a base hit by Ti. Padon, bringing 2 runs to the plate.
A base hit by Deanadded a run for a 3-0 advantage.

The Lady comets got a double by morris and a walk from Hooper but no runs came home.

The Lady Cardinals got the 2nd inning going with a double by Stiles, a base hit from Chittenden and a walk by Ta. Padon to load the bases, then a base hit from Ti. Padon sent a single run home for a 4-0 lead.

Carlisle went scoreless in the 2nd inning and both teams went without score in the 3rd inning.

The Lady Cardinals kept their lead rising in the 4th inning with a base hit by Leidecker, a walk by Ti. Padon and a double from Dalton, bringing 2 runs home for a 6-0 advantage.

The Lady Comets tried to get on the board in the 4th inning as a walk by Hooper, plus base hits by Ballard and Edging loaded the bases but still no runs made it across the plate.

There was no score for either team in the 5th inning but the Lady Cardinals added a single run in the 6th with a walk by Leidecker and a base hit by Dalton, bringing the lead to 7-0.

The Lady Comets were held to a zero in the 6th, the Lady Cardianls brought a single run home in the 7th off doubles from Chittenden and Ta. Padon and the Lady Comets were held off again in the 7th, giving the Lady Cardinals an 8-0 victory.
