The Ballard-Carlisle County Library has received 80 new children's books from Grayson County Library. Librarian Mary Silgals says they are about to order new books and would like public input on what kind of books you would like to see in the library. Just give them a call or find them on Facebook and leave a comment.
The city of Wickliffe has put a sidewalk in front of the library and Silgals says they are also about to put in their drop box for your convenience.
Silgals says she would like to start a group for Homeschoolers to come and get together if enough are interested.
They now have about 8,000 books and over 2,000 dvd's. Teresa Morris Salonimer says they have a lot of books and dvd's on history including WWI and WWII that are very popular. The library also has public computers and copier for your convenience.
The library is open on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The entrance of the Ballard-Carlisle County Public Library is always inviting and just a preview of how nice the rest of the Library is.
