Livingston Central competes in Marshall County Invitational

BENTON - The Livingston Central Cross Country program completed in the Marshall County Invitational on Saturday. Livingston Central runner Kristia Pitts was the fourth female in the 1,600 meter run (Elementary level). A fifth-grader, Pitts finished in 8:014.18.
Other Livingston Central runners were Laken Givens (4,000 Meter Run, 25:41.20), Tiffany Layne (5,000 Meter Run (32:38.80), Maciej Sloma (5,000 Meter Run, 24:12.26); Keaton New (5,000 Meter Run, 24:15.58), Denton Wood (5,000 Meter Run, 24:41.61) and Jesse Griggs (5,000 Meter Run, 31:58.10). 
Pitts will be running the St. Mary's Elementary Run at Noble Park on Tuesday (Oct. 1). 
The Livingston Central Cross Country program is under the direction of head coach Rebecca O'Neal.
