Livingston Hospital Family Walk-In Clinic open for business

In an effort to better serve the community, the staff and management of Livingston County Hospital in Salem, are constantly looking for ways they can improve. The 25 bed hospital is the only hospital in Livingston County and takes pride in the services they provide.

The hospital recently designated an area of their emergency facility to provide a Walk-In Clinic. The clinic provides nonemergency Medical Care to patients 18 months and older with no appointment necessary. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Patients must go to registration prior to being seen in the Walk-In clinic.

A variety of illnesses can be treated on a first come first serve basis including ear, nose, throat and respiratory conditions, skin conditions, sports injury, musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains and muscle aches as well as gastrointestinal conditions and genitourinary and reproductive conditions.

The clinic sees only nonemergency patients that do not require advanced treatment of life threatening conditions.

Although the clinic is housed in the Livingston hospital it is classified as an office visit for insurance purposes making the clinic visit much cheaper than an emergency room visit.

The clinic is staffed by competent, trained Physicians and nurses providing the best of care to those that enter their doors.
