Livingston Ledger - July 23 – 25, eight members of the LCHS Lady Cardinals Volleyball team attended camp at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.  Over those three days the team learned several fundamental drills to enhance their defensive and hitting skills.  They were complimented several times by the APSU coaching staff and players for their hard work and communication as a team.  On the third day of camp the Lady Cardinals scrimmaged with seven other teams, many from the Clarksville area, but also including schools from Nashville, Tennessee and Region 2 opponents Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell.  The overall scrimmage record for the Lady Cards was 5-3 for the day.  The Lady Cardinals will begin their season on August 19 at Paducah Tilghman.  Their first home game, in the brand new renovated LCHS gym, will be Saturday, August 24 for the Cardinal Classic Tournament where they will face off against Crittenden, Trigg, Union, and Webster counties.
