Mr. Charles David Borders, Sr., age 70 of Grand Rivers, KY., passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Born Sunday, October 18, 1942 in Russellville, KY., was a retired Journeyman Electrician from IBEW local 816, Paducah, KY. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers where he served as Trustee Chairman. He is survived by his wife Andrea K. (Holmes) Borders of Grand Rivers, three daughters, Kimberly Borders of Apopka, FL, Karen Sullivan of Stratham, NH and Sheri Kimball of Wilton, CT, one son, Michael Winship of Lecanto, FL., one brother, Russell Borders of Pinckney, MI, one sister, Erdene Hughes of Auburn, KY; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Borders, mother, Erline (Fitzhugh) Borders, one son, Charles David Borders, Jr., one brother, Shelby Borders. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pisgah United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers, KY. Rev. Steve Proctor will officiate. Friends may visit with the family after 2:00 p.m. until the service hour Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Pisgah United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers, KY. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101.

Ricky Joe Curnel age 46 of Marion, KY passed away Saturday September 7, 2013 at Crittenden Health Systems. The Marion, KY native was a truck driver. He is survived by a son, Ricky “Pooter” Curnel, Marion, KY; two daughters, Johnna Fitch, Marion, KY and Kayla Faughn, Fredonia, KY; two brothers, Randy Walker, Portland, TN and Rocky Walker, Marion, KY; nine grandchildren. Mr. Curnel was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jeraldine DeBoe Curnel; his wife, Karla Reed Curnel; and one brother, William Curnel. Graveside funeral services were held September 10 at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, KY, with Rev. Kenny Odom officiating. 

Darrell Lynn Moore, 54, of Huntsville, AL formerly of Paducah, KY, passed away September 4, 2013 in Seymour, IN. Mr. Moore was a member of Winchester Road East Church of Christ in Huntsville, AL and an Electrical Engineer for Continental. Mr. Moore is survived by a daughter, Miranda D. Baker and husband James of Huntsville, AL; a son, Nemiah L. Moore and wife Amber of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren, Amelia Moore, Patton Moore and Evie Jo Moore; two sisters, Julie Moore of Paducah, KY and Jana Thomasson and husband Bud of Sevierville, TN; one brother, Steve Moore and wife Melissa of Ledbetter, KY; two nieces, Brittainy Theriot of Maryville, TN and Mandi Jo Thomasson of Sevierville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Joan Tucker Moore. Funeral services were held September 9, 2013 at Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Terrell Lee officiating.  Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Winchester Road East Church of Christ 1471 Winchester Road East Huntsville, AL 35811. You may leave a message of sympathy and light a candle of remembrance at www.milnerandorr.com

Mrs. Marilyn (Rogers) Flynn, age 88, of Grand Rivers, KY, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Calvert City, KY. Arrangements are incomplete at this time at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
