Mrs. Leona Virginia (Ginger) Ramage, 81, of Houston, TX, formerly of Burna, KY, passed away March 22, 2013 in Houston, TX. Leona traveled and lived extensively across the United States. In her later years, she returned to her roots, in Kentucky, where he settled with her husband in 1995. Leona never met a stranger. She very much enjoyed her time volunteering at the Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services Gift Shop, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by three children, Debbie Mason, and her husband of Boise, ID; Greg Ramage and Ruth Ann Elliott, and her husband of Woodlands, TX; two granddaughters and grandchildren. Don Poindexter, 71, of Ledbetter, passed away September 26, 2013, at his residence. Don was the owner and operator of Poindexter Irrigation, a member of Ledbetter Church of Christ, and a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Ann Watkins Poindexter; daughter, Kimberly Jones and husband Thomas of Lone Oak; son Jeffery Poindexter and Kim of Marshall County; one sister, Carol Watson of Reidland; one brother, Kenny Poindexter of Hampton KY; six grandchildren, Michael Poindexter, Laura Poindexter, Dakota Rounds, Channing Jones, Jessica Jones, Aaron Edmonds; and two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Sue Fike, and Liam Edmonds. He was preceded in death by one brother Billy Poindexter; and his parents Harry and Faye Hurley Poindexter. Mr. J.C. Monroe, 79, of Burna, KY, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Livingston Hospital and healthcare Services in Salem. J.C. was born July 25, 1934, to Hugh and Alda Williams Monroe. He was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church in Salem, KY, and retired from ISP in Calvert City in 1997. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vivian Ann Monroe of Salem, KY; four children, Jimmy L.
