Doris Johns, 80, of Reidland, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at her residence. Doris was born in Tompkinsville, KY, a member of Reidland Church of Christ and was retired from retail sales. Doris is survived by three daughters, Pamela J. Ortt of Paducah, KY, Tammy Brown of Ledbetter, KY and Cara Johns of Benton, KY; five grandchildren, Nikki Anderson, Matt Ortt, Josh Mitchell, Michael Bryan Ortt and Zach Mitchell; six great grandchildren, Whitnee Anderson, Macie Anderson, Sidney Anderson, Skylar and Hunter Mitchell and Joshua Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Johns; great grandson Issaic Mitchell; two sisters and one brother. Her parents were Osmond and Olah Graves Bartley. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Terrell Lee officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Peggy Ann Teague Davidson, 53, of Paducah, formerly of Ledbetter, died Monday at 4:37 pm at Lourdes Hospital. She was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on March 29, 1961 to the late Jesse and Mary Teague. A lifelong lover of all animals, Peggy worked as a pet sitter for many years. She was a passionate animal advocate and found peace in St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. A kind soul and a Christian woman, Peggy was very close with her family and maintained her smile even when her health had deteriorated. She was part Cherokee and had attended several Native American Pow-Wows. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rick Davidson; two brothers, Steve Teague and wife Jane of Ledbetter and Frank Teague and wife Tina of Lone Oak; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie Tubbs, Sally Teague, Tommy Calender and Tony Calendar. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Teague Calender; and her parents, Jesse Edward Teague and Mary Grace Cameron Teague. A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm Thursday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Jason Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Rosebower Cemetery. Dorothy Ann Neihoff Skinner, 75, of Paducah passed away at 10:05 pm on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital. Dorothy was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She had worked for Lourdes Hospital and CTS speaker company. Dorothy is survived by three step-sons, David Skinner of Kevil, KY, Kevin Skinner of Kevil, KY and Rick Skinner of Grand Rivers, KY; two sisters Wanda Wurth and husband Harold of Paducah, Mary Richardson and husband Sanford of Paducah; two brothers Leonard Neihoff and wife Norma of Paducah, Raymond Neihoff and wife Barbara of Paducah; brother in- law John Kaufman of Paducah; two sisters in- law, Janet Neihoff of Paducah, Pearl Keeling of Paducah; several nieces and nephews; and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Skinner; parents, Martin Neihoff & Bertha Neihoff; two sisters, Hilda Wurth and Louise Kaufman; three brothers, Louis Neihoff, Leon Neihoff, Hilary Neihoff; and one great nephew Joseph Eason. Virgil L. Harvey, 90, of Ledbetter, KY passed away at 8:15 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Carlisle, Arkansas. Virgil was retired from Union Carbide where he worked in the storeroom. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Smithland Second Baptist Church. He was a member of the Ledbetter Senior Citizens, American Legion, the Southside McDonalds and the` Southside Hardees Breakfast Groups. Virgil was proud of his service in the United States Army During World War II. He is survived by his son, Virgil Lee Harvey, Jr. of Lonoke, AR; daughters, Donna Davis and husband Larry of Burna, KY and Charlene Corder and husband Bob of Ledbetter, KY; grandchildren, Todd Moore of Paducah, KY, Lori Corder of Ledbetter, KY, Shane Davis of Burna, KY, Stacey Turner of Grand Rivers, KY, Kelly and Dana; great grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Dylan Holt, Hunter Holt, Laken Davis, Joshua Turner and Easton Davis; sister in law, Bettye Shoulta of Clarksville, TN and several nieces and nephews.
