Martha Sue Crafton Maddox, age 73, of Hopkinsville, KY - formerly of Beech Grove, IN and Todd County - passed away Wednesday September 3, 2014 9:36 p.m. at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus in Madison, TN. Services will be Monday September 8, 2014 11:30 a.m. at the Lola Pentecostal Church in Salem, KY with Rev. Perry Fouts and Mrs. Patty Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY at 4:00 p.m. on that day. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Latham Funeral Home of Elkton is in charge of arrangements. Martha was born in Clifty, KY on December 29, 1940; she is the daughter of the late Leo Crafton and Ruthell Francies Crafton. She was retired from St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN. Mrs. Maddox was a member of the Mt. Calvary Evangelistic Center in Indianapolis, IN. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one Grandson David Nathaniel Fouts. She is survived by one son Christopher Maddox of Washington, D.C., one daughter Michelle Fouts of Salem, KY, four sisters Eva Stagner and Edna Hall both of Hopkinsville, KY, Sandra Kennedy of Russellville, KY and Lori Carson of Sumer Shade, KY. two Grandchildren, Jessica Fouts Hillen and Rachelle Fouts.

Mary "Mick" Combs, age 87, of Grand Rivers, KY died Friday, September 05, 2014 at Calvert City Convalescent Center following a long illness. She was a retired postal clerk and a member of Grand Rivers United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Joe Paul Combs, Grand Rivers, KY; one daughter Ruth Ann Combs & husband, Randy Smith, Versailles, KY; one grandson, Benjamin Smith, two brothers, Woodson Hart, Evansville, IN and Michael Hart & wife, Sharon, Evansville, IN and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Combs, her parents, Jody & Myrtle Marshall Hart; four brothers, Joe, Steve, Dale and Don Hart; and four sisters, Cookie Hart, Dolly Hart, Sarah Bowman and Annie Campbell. Visitation will be Saturday, September 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home and on Sunday, September 7 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Vanderford and Rev. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers. Lanna Kay Wheeler, 61, of Henderson, KY, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. Lanna was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Stan Wheeler of Henderson, KY; two sons, William H. Wheeler of Princeton, KY, and Charles Ben Wheeler of Marion, KY; one sister, Jean Smith of Clay, KY; four brothers, Robert and Johnny Hardin both of Salem, KY, Thomas and David Hardin both of Marion, KY; one grandson, Matthew Wheeler; three step-grandchildren, Robyn, Garret and Samantha Duff; and four great great grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 9PM, Sunday, September 7, 2014, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem. Kenneth P. Anglin, 70, of Salem died Friday, August 29, 2014, at his home. Mr. Anglin is survived by two stepchildren, John Elliott and Anissa Mouilleseaux, both of Michigan; a brother, Donald Anglin of Iuka; a sister, Janice Champion of Smithland; and a stepgrandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Anglin; a half sister; and a half brother. His parents were Harmon and Clyde Anglin. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Groves Chapel Cemetery in Tilene. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Jay Doyle Landers, 79, of Marion died Sunday, August 17, 2014, at his home. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by two sons, James Doyle Landers and Jeffery Keith Landers, both of Jacksonville, Alabama; one daughter, Deborah Ann Brewer of Boaz, Alabama; one sister, Delores J. Wood of Marion, Ky.; and several grand and great-grandchildren.There were no services. Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.

Janet Jones, 69, of Grand Rivers died Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Oakview Manor Healthcare Center in Calvert City. She was a homemaker and of Southern Baptist faith. She is survived by two sons, Brad Jones and Bryan Jones, both of Grand Rivers; one stepson, Jeff Jones of Arlington, Virginia; three stepdaughters, Janet Jones, Jennifer Hargis and Teresa Rose, all of Benton; one brother, Joe Wayne Mathis of Hardin; and one grandchild, Alyson Jones of Grand Rivers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Jones; and one sister. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Stokley Mathis. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Marshall County Memory Gardens with the Rev. Joel Frizzell officiating. Interment will follow. No visitation is scheduled. Collier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Eugene Hall, 61, of Joy KY, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his home. Mr. Hall was a member of Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Yvonne Hall; three sons, Bryan Hall and his wife Keely of Lola KY, Chad Hall of Joy KY; Alan Hall and his fiancée Alison of Joy KY; one brother, Billy Ray Hall of Salem KY; one sister, Marie Patterson of Paducah KY; one granddaughter Charlee Kay; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Mary Adams Hall; two brothers, Larry Hall and Jessie "Popeye" Hall. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 5, 2014, at 2PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem with the Rev. Jim Wring and Rev. Danny Starrick officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem from 5 to 8 PM, Friday, September 5, 2014, and 9AM until the funeral hour on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
