Mr. Robert Freeman Flood, age 88 of Grand Rivers, KY died on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at his residence. Born Friday, March 12, 1926 in Henry County, TN. He attended Lake City Missionary Baptist Church, was a 50 year plus member of the Scottish Rite, an avid sportsman and gunsmith. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served honorably during World War II. Mr. Flood is survived by his daughter Marilyn Faye Smith of Grand Rivers, KY; 2 grandchildren, Rob Smith of Grand Rivers, KY and Cheryl Solomon and her husband Mike of Edwardsville, IL; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Colton Smith and Morgan Jamison and her husband Johnny of South Fulton, TN; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild Macy Jamison; 1 brother, Bill Flood and his wife Susie of Union City, TN, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Blondal Lilly Flood, daughter Carol Thomas, and 2 brothers Lewis and Eura Flood. His parents were the late Hoyt and Beulah Walker Flood, Funeral Services will be held on Monday September 22, 2014 at 5:00 pm at the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Burial with Graveside and Military service will be held on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm in Dixon Cemetery, Grand Rivers, KY. Visitation will be held on Monday September 22, 2014 between the hours of 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. All arrangements have been entrusted to Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.

Margie "Birdie" Farmer, 96, of Henderson, formerly of Marion, died Friday, September 19, 2014, at St Anthony's Hospice Lucy King Care Center in Henderson. She is survived by three sons, Maurice D. Farmer of Sturgis, and Steve Farmer and Mike Farmer, both of Henderson; one brother. Tom Teer of Marion; two sisters, Helen Cullen and Betty Tabor, both of Marion; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Farmer; four brothers; and one sister. Her parents were Thomas and Gussie Teer. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014, at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice, 2410 S. Green St., Henderson, KY 42420.

Judith Marie Edge, 59, of Grand Rivers died at 12:20 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Lake City Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Edge; two sons, Joseph Patrick Edge of Russellville and George E. Edge of Elkton; one daughter, Carolyn A. Atkinson of Russellville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norvel Smith and the Rev. James Oates, both of Grand Rivers; and one sister, Sue Powell of Benton. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Her parents were James H. Oates and Willie A. Gray Oates. Graveside memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Dixon Cemetery. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
