Mr. Jack Edward Elder, 63, of Salem, KY, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Jack was a coal miner for over 38 years, retiring from Patriot Coal, and was a member of the United Mine Workers. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Tidwell of Salem, KY; two sons, James and Robert Elder of Paducah, KY; a step-daughter, Courtney Tidwell; a brother, Harry Elder of Salem, KY; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a wife, Debbie Elder; one son, Timothy Elder; one step-son, Jason McDowell; and his parents, Harry C. and Evelyn Lindle Elder. Petfauna Gene Czaplicki, 49, of Marion, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at Crittenden County Hospital. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Czaplicki; one son, John Davis of DeKalb, Illinois; one daughter, Victoria Henderson of Eustis, Florida; her mother, Phyllis Henderson of Eustis; one brother, Bobby Henderson of Jacksonville, Florida; and two sisters, Patricia Kisstler of Middleburg, Florida and Pam Burnett of Eustis. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert S. Henderson. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. Tincy C. Morris age 92 passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Way Nursing & Rehab Center in Benton, KY. Tincy was a former resident of Lone Oak, Ky and was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ for many years. The last nine years, Tincy has been a member of the Briensburg Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Melber High School. Tincy enjoyed traveling and being with family and especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed people and wanted everyone to have fun, even these last two years at Lake Way of keeping nurses and residents laughing. The family extends its sincere appreciation to the staff of Lake Way Nursing Home for the respectful, loving personal care they showed to Tincy. Survivors include one daughter, Gail Morris Fuller and husband Barry of Gilbertsville, KY; one son, Reedy Morris of Gilbertsville, KY; two grandchildren, Barry Shannon Fuller and wife Laura of Raymond, MS; Tina Fuller Gill and husband Rice of Allensville, KY; five great-grandchildren, Alex Fuller, Ella Fuller, Leah Gill, Hannah Gill and Sarah Gill; several nieces and nephews. Henry A. Sutton, 73, of Marion, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at his home. He was an avid fisherman. He is survived by two brothers, Robert Sutton, of Eddyville, and Ricky Sutton, of Marion; five sisters, Betty Walker, of Marion, Helen Thomas, of Cadiz, Mary Lou Council, of Murray, Delores Lamb, of Providence, and Shirley Sutton, of Cadiz; three children, Joyce, Brad and Emery Sutton; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and one son, Allen Sutton Jr. His parents were Roscoe and Mable Sutton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosebud Cemetery. Friends may call at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
