Mary Alice Dunning McClure, age 85, of Carrollton, TX, formerly of Lone Oak, KY passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Sonoma House Assisted Living in Carrollton, TX. Mary Alice was born January 3, 1929 in McConnell, TN to William H. and Irdine Dunning. She was the youngest of three children and spent her childhood in Fulton, KY where she met her husband, Wayne McClure at age 14. Their romance was love at first sight and they married in September 1945. Before Wayne passed away in 2010, they had been together sixty-four years as much in love then as when they were teenagers. Mary is survived by three children, Mike & Suzanne (Doyle) McClure of Ledbetter, KY, Patti McClure Thomasson of Dallas, TX, Mark & Katrina (Fisher-Shepherd) McClure of Bozeman, MT, along with five grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Nolan McClure; one sister, Marcella Walker; one brother, Billy Dunning. Her parents were William H. and Irdine Carter Dunning. Mary was a woman who love the Lord and completely placed her life and trust in God. She spent most of her years taking care of her family. She loved music, especially from the Big Band Era. She also loved butterflies of all kinds from figurines to jewelry to pictures etc. Other interests over the years included artistic and creative things; drawing and painting pictures or making things with her hands, like ceramics or beautiful sequined Christmas ornaments. She moved to Texas in March of 2012 into Lakeview at Josey Ranch to be near her daughter Patti and her children. She loved living there and made so many friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Terry Mitcheson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Mr. Michael W. Pugh, 58, of Burna, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at his home in Burna, KY. He is survived by his wife Cathy Pugh; four sisters, Victoria Dale Glore of Lola, KY, Sheila Bishop of Smithland, KY, Sandra Crowley of Ledbetter, KY, and Rita Shekell of Smithland, KY. He was preceded in death by one son, Jamie Pugh; one brother, Bobby Dean Pugh; and his parents, Jewell Dean and Mary Dale Adams Pugh. There will be no services currently scheduled. Mrs. April Renay (Stone) Watson, 51, of Marion, KY, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Mrs. Watson was a member of the VFW Auxillary in Marion. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Tim Watson; one daughter, Dusty Dawn Baker of Marion, KY; one sister, Tanya Hardesty of Marion, KY; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother; and her parents, James H. and Wanda N. Sherer Stone. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 1 PM, at White's Chapel Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Boyd Funeral Directors in handling all arrangements.

Gary Wayne Workman, age 53 of Marion, KY passed away Wednesday October 22, 2014 at his home. His occupation was a truck driver. Workman is survived by two daughters, Stacy Godwin, Marion, KY and Stephanie Dunn, Marion, KY; mother, Vivian Workman, Marion, KY; brothers, Larry Workman, Dry Ridge, KY and Barry Workman, Marion, KY; sister, Sharon Smith, Marion, KY; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Workman and a granddaughter. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 at 12 o'clock noon at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Crittenden County. Myers Funeral Home in Marion, KY is handling the arrangements. There is no visitation at the funeral home.

Thomas Edward Hughes age 66 of Marion, Kentucky passed away Thursday,October 23, 2014 at his home. He was a retired teacher and had also worked in the coal mining industry. He attended Marion United Methodist Church and was a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Hughes is survived by his wife, Rosie Hughes, Marion, KY; daughters, Danielle Hunt, Marion, KY and Nicole Tucker, West Jefferson, NC; stepsons, Mike Rogers, Hopkinsville, KY and Mark Rogers, Walnut Cove, NC; sisters, Colleen Harbour, Marion, KY and Lisa Dycus, Kuttawa, KY; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Leon and Hallie Lorene Nolan Hughes. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday October 26, 2014 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation at Myers Funeral Home Saturday between 5 and 8 PM.
