Beverly Ruth Oliver entered her heavenly home a little after midnight, January 16, 2015. She passed away at Rhea Medical Center of a sudden illness at the age of 86. She and her late husband, Samuel Frank Oliver, and their children made their home at their farm in Burna, KY for over 50 years. She was the daughter of Clyde and Fannie Bell Dunlap of Michigan and the sister of Mary Nicholson and Shirley Cox. She is survived by her loving children, Charles W. and wife Brittany Oliver of Nashville, TN and Cynthia L. and her husband Floyd R. Gass of Spring City, TN; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland, KY on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00pm with Bro. Phillip Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow beside her husband in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Frankie N. Gass, 87, of Marion, KY, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem. Mrs. Gass was born January 27, 1927, the daughter of John and Elva Martin. She was survived by her husband Harry Gass; two sons, Monty C. and Trent Gass; one daughter, Debra Gass Knight; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.Private graveside services were held Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 10AM, at Mapleview Cemetery. Steve Baldree, 62 of Boaz, KY died at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Barkley Center. He was of Baptist faith and retired from Illinois Central Railroad as a mechanic. Survivors include wife, Janice Garrison Baldree; three daughters, Trinia Baldree, Paducah, KY, Tessa Baldree and Alicia Hunt both of Boaz, KY; one son, Mark Baldree, Paducah, KY; two step-daughters, Janet Nicholas, Clinton, KY, Stephanie Caldwell, West Paducah, KY; one step-son Mark Dowdy, Clinton, KY; three sisters, Ronnie Nanney, Ledbetter, KY, Barbara McGuire, Paducah, KY, Penny Katschke, Calvert City, KY; one brother, Michael Joe Baldree, Ledbetter, KY, several neices and nephews. Preceding in death were parents, Harry Baldree Jr. & Lois Thompson Baldree; daughter, Wendy Rae Baldree; one brother George Kelly Baldree; and one sister Marilyn Jo Baldree. Ronald F. "Tink" Hicklin, 96, of Marion, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Crittenden County Hospital. Mr. Hicklin was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Marion United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his niece Janet Hicklin, of Houston; two nephews, Ron Alvis, of Frankfort, and Richard Franklin, of Lexington; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. His parents were James T. and Eva Hicklin. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. Services for James Donald "Don" Taylor, 86, of Marion, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. Johnny McGregor, 66, of Marion, formerly of Princeton, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, at his home. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include one son, John McGregor Jr. of Princeton; three daughters, Mary McGregor of Marion, and Sue Ann Loney and Jackie Evans, both of Princeton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ronald Pavey of Princeton, Bobby McGregor and Jackie McGregor, both of Caldwell County, and Billy McGregor of Marion; four sisters, Mary Felker of Henderson, Carolyn Martin and Lena Ritter, both of Dawson Springs, and Penny Fraliex of Caldwell County; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Slaton McGregor; one son, Jason McGregor; two brothers; and one sister. Johnny's parents were Louard and Lena Jarrett McGregor. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
