Dalton Edward Stegall age 77 of Mayfield KY died on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 6:20 PM at the VA Hospital in Lexington KY following a long illness. Mr. Stegall was a US Army Veteran, Certified Welder, member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church and a 1956 graduate of Mayfield High School. Survivors include his brother, Lanny Stegall of Lexington KY, and one sister, Muriell Dunn of Louisville KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orman and Mildred Doom Stegall. There will be no visitation or service for Mr. Stegall. Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton KY is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary Kathern Elliott, 86, of Madisonville passed from this life on Friday, January 30, 2015, at Baptist Health in Madisonville. She formerly resided in the Lola area. Mrs. Elliott is survived by one son, Lal Edward "Butch" Elliott, Jr. and his wife Belinda of Murray; one daughter, Debbie Enoch and husband Bob of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Stephen Enoch and his wife Debbie, Desiree Puckett and her husband Larry, Kenan Enoch and his wife Lana; eight great-grandchildren, Irelane, Lauren, Gracie, Jackson, Cooper, Braxton, Ben and Bradley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lal Edward Elliott, Sr.; her parents, Lloyd and Reba Watson Croft; two brothers, Jimmie and Randolph Croft. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11am, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors with Rev's Kenneth Watson and David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2015 from 5-8pm at Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem. Marie Tomer, 93, of Paducah died Monday, January 26, 2015, at Lourdes hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Schoening of Ledbetter and Judith Petropulos of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; one son, Donald Sable of Crystal Lake, Illinois; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents were Hans and Martha Eggers. No services are scheduled at this time. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Paul David McKinney, age 67, of Paducah passed away Monday, January 26, 2015, at 11:45 p.m. at the home of his sister. Mr. McKinney was a native of Livingston County, Ky., and served in the United States Army. Surviving are his sister, Janith Gibson and husband William of Melber, Ky.; one nephew, Rodger Cunningham and wife Cynthia of Hopkinsville, Ky.; a special friend, Beverly Redden of Calvert City, Ky.; and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Encil Edmonds and the Rev. Mike Hunt officiating. There will be no visitation. Marion Doug Binkley, 72, of Marion died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Salem Springlake Health & Rehabilitation Center. He survived by his wife, Roxie Haire Binkley; four brothers, Larry C. Binkley of Hobart, Indiana, and Richard A. Binkley, James D. "Jimmy" Binkley and Tony L. Binkley, all of Marion; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Binkley; and one daughter, Jo Anna Heady. His parents were Marion and Josephine Binkley. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial at Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, January 30, 2015, at the funeral home.

Patricia Joy McConnell, 60, of Marion died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at her home. She was a U.S. Army veteran. She is survived by her mother, Anna Marybelle Jay of Marion; two sisters, Phyllis Hill of Martinsville, Indiana, and Paula Achord of Walker, Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister. Her father was Ivan McConnell. Private graveside services will be at a later date. Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.

Aretta Elizabeth Eggleston, 37, of Marion died Thursday, January 29, 2015, in Marion. Surviving are her husband, Kenny Eggleston; two daughters, Lauren Elizabeth and Leah Brooke Eggleston of Marion; her parents, Dallas and Marcie Miniard of Marion; one brother, Dallas Matthew Miniard of Marion; and one sister, Anna Marie Perry of Marion. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015, at the funeral home.

Mr. Orville Douglas Black, 79, of Carrsville, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Crittenden Health Systems in Marion. He was a career veteran of the United States Air Force, an avid hunter and devoted family man. Mr. Black is survived by two daughters, Susan Chittenden and husband Garry of Salem, Patti Johnson and husband Jeff of Grand Rivers; one brother, Dennis Black and wife Loyce of Carrsville; one sister, Wilma Ramage of Benton; four grandchildren, Casey Chittenden and wife Jenifer, Weston Chittenden, Derek Johnson and Jada O'Leary and husband Aaron. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Davis Black; a son, Jeffrey Douglas Black; his parents Orville L. and Zona Waggoner Black. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1pm, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors with Rev Jr. Deason officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
