Mrs. Elizabeth Ann DeBoe, 88, of Marion, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at her daughter's home in Marion. She was survived by one son, William Marty Asbridge of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Brenda Joyce Winders of Marion, KY; one step daughter, Joyce Ray Standley of Owensboro, KY; one sister, Dorothy "Dott" Hodge; one brother, Billy Duke Hodge; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Elzie Asbridge and Hubert DeBoe; one daughter, Frankie Helen Haney; and four brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem.
Lucille Potter Champion, 85, of Paducah, KY passed away at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Baptist Health of Paducah. She was born in Livingston county, KY. Lucille was a member of the Rosebower Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Champion Rudd and husband Van of Paducah, KY; sister, Theah Jones and husband Allen of Smithland, KY; granddaughters, Lauren Champion Rudd and Allison Elizabeth Rudd both of Paducah, KY; granddog, Avery and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie E. Champion. Her parents were Herschel Potter and Lida Robertson Potter. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Iuka Cemetery in Livingston County, KY with Van Rudd and Rev. Allen Jones officiating. Casper Glenn "Cat Daddy" Tally, age 81, of Tiline, went home to be with the Lord at 1:35 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, from Baptist Health Paducah. Casper was a faithful member of the Tiline First Baptist Church, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. Casper was no stranger to hard work, he was a 55 year member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Local Union 181. He specialized as a finish man with a bulldozer, spending 35 years with Jim Smith Construction Company. Casper's hobbies included hunting and fishing, but his passion was competing in tractor pulls all over the country. A faithful husband, loving father, grandfather, and loyal friend, Casper's presence will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Casper is survived by his Loving wife of 55 years, Virgie Blair Tally, two sons, Danny G. Tally, and his fiancÃ©e, Pam Hall, Jimmy W. Tally, and his wife, Lisa, one daughter, Tracie Tally Belcher, and her husband, Todd, all of Tiline. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Danna Noel Tally, of Smithland, Dakota Blair Tally, of Tiline, and her fiancÃ©, Aaron Carter, and Jamiee Suzanne Tally, of Tiline, Blair McKenzie Belcher, and Carter Jack Belcher, also of Tiline. Casper is also survived by a great-grandchild, Nyxxan Grace Logsdon, of Smithland, a special niece, Tina Campbell and her husband, Roger, of Tiline, and a cousin, Carl Roger McDonald, of Tiline, along with several other nieces and nephews. Casper was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James H. Tally and Bobby Jack Tally; and a sister, Betty Tally; and a brother-in-law, Jewel Blair. His parents were John Elbert "Jack" and Bessie Gaines Tally. Graveside services for Casper will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Leeper Cemetery in Tiline, with the Rev. Kenny Odom and Wayne Carter officiating, Full Military Honors will follow. Casper's family will gather to receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland, Ky. David Wayne Agent, 64, of Burna, passed away on February 22, 2015 at Livingston Hospital in Salem. He was a retired river boat captain and truck driver. He is survived by his father, David L. Agent of Burna; one brother, Randall Agent of Evansville, IN; two sisters, Connie Hanks of Marion and Betty Cates of Smithland; one brother-in-law, Kevin Cates of Smithland; and a beloved friend, Judy Riley of Burna. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose M. Agent; an infant brother, Carol D. Agent; and one brother-in-law, James Hanks of Marion. Cremation services were completed by Smith Funeral Chapel of Smithland, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to any charitable organization.
