Mr. James F. Hardesty, 60, of Tacoma, WA, formerly of Marion, KY, passed away May 6, 2015 at his home. He was a veteran of United States Army.
He is survived by one son, Jimmy Hardesty; one daughter, Missy Smith.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Donald and Danny Hardesty; and his parents, Frank and Marilyn Hardesty. Graveside memorial services will be Saturday, May 23, 2015, 3PM, at White's Chapel Cemetery in Crittenden County with Bro. Joe Collins officiating.
There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Wanda Mae Shell, 79, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Burna, KY, passed from this life on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Mrs. Shell was a member of Joppa Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Varvel of Metropolis, IL; two brothers, Charles Watson of Marocco, IN, Gary Watson of Marion, KY; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Cassie Belt Watson; one brother Paul Watson and one sister, Betty Martin. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Director's in Salem, KY. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Graveside services for William "Bill" Syers, 88, of Tempe, Arizona, formerly of DeKoven, Kentucky, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion. Mr. Syers died August 21, 2014. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Veda Syers; two sons, David Syers of Syracuse, Indiana, and Drew Syers of Tempe; two grandchildren, Candace Good of Kokomo, Indiana, and Anthony Syers of Greenwood, Indiana; and eight great-grandchildren. Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Tina L. Moore, age 84, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at her home. She was the owner and operator of Magnolia Manor Resort and Kentucky Lake Storage in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters Lynnette (Joe) Davidson of South Fulton, Tennessee, and Valerie (John) Kortz of Paducah; sons Charles (Lori) Singery of Gilbertsville and Jerry R. "Butch" (Diane) Moore and Anthony "Tony" (Rhonda) Moore, both of Paducah; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles F. Singery Sr. of Central City, Kentucky; second husband, Jerry R. Moore of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; and loving partner, Jack Baird of Gilbertsville, Kentucky. A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Collier Funeral Chapel, located at 211 W. Fifth St., Benton, KY 42025, with the Rev. Danny Holt officiating. Memorial visitation will be held between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Collier Funeral Home. Carol Anne Hinchey Miller, 55, of Symsonia, KY and Fairbanks, AK, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at her home in Symsonia with her husband and sisters by her side. Carol was born in Paducah, KY on November 12, 1959 to the late William "Bill" Hinchey and Dean Bomar Hinchey. She was a 1977 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Carol was a member of the local chapters of V.F.W. and American Legion. Carol followed her husband, John, to Alaska because of his occupation and soon became an enthusiast of ice fishing, boating, and riding snowmobiles. She enjoyed visiting her family in Kentucky and tending her flower garden. She is survived by her husband, John C. Miller; stepchildren, Vernon Scott Miller and Jessica Nicole Miller; three sisters, Lyn Carroll of Paducah, Kelly Brandon and husband, Bob, of Paducah, and Lori Bryant of Ledbetter; and six nephews and six nieces. Preceding her in death were her sister, Pat Sparks; brother, Phillip Hinchey; and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Blandville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Geraldine Eberle age 63 of Marion, KY passed away May 20, 2015 at Crittenden Health Systems. She is survived by her mother, Jennie Latham, Marion, KY; sisters, Gertie Link, Dixon, KY and Julia Bietler, Nebo, KY; brothers, Lawrence Latham, Monroe, LA and Clemo Latham, Sacramento, KY; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Eberle, Marion, KY; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday May 30, 2015 at 3 PM at the Marion Baptist Church. Myers Funeral Home in Marion, KY is handling the arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

William Edward "Bill" Todd age 77 of Marion, KY passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 at his home. He was a farmer and member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Todd is survived by his wife: Margaret Todd, Marion, KY; son, William Allen Todd, Sturgis, Ky; brother, James Todd, Marion, KY; sister, Louise Slaughter, Henderson, He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Mary Curry Todd, two brothers, two sisters and one son. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at Whites Chapel Church at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Whites Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Whites Chapel Church at 9 AM and continue until the time of the service at 11 AM. Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY is handling the arrangements.
