Mrs. Helen Louise Marshall, 57, of Burna, KY, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Crittenden Health Systems in Marion, KY. Mrs. Marshall is survived by two daughters Sharon Marshall of Smithland, KY and Tammy Harbert of Burna, KY; one son, Billy Marshall of Martin, KY; seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Marshall and her parents Emmanuel & Violet Warford Klein. Private Family Funeral Services were held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, P. O. Box 26, Salem, KY 42078. Ollie Temple Nordyke, 91, of Gilbertsville died at 4 a.m. Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired nurse. She is survived by one daughter, Johann Backus of Madison, Indiana; three grandchildren, Johanna Johnson, Jeffrey Backus and John Backus; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert E. Nordyke and Clarence Nordyke. Her parents were Earl H. Jett and Stella Oak Jett. There are no services scheduled at this time. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory of Benton is in charge of arrangements.

Randy D. Parker, 59, of Paducah died Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Parker was a retired carpenter and attended the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Ledbetter. Surviving are his wife, Cora Parker; one daughter, Hannah Davidson of Cunningham; one sister, Tyonia Bray of Carlinville, Illinois; four brothers, Lendis Parker of New Hampshire, Ricky Parker of Carlinville, Illinois, Danny Parker of Granite City, Illinois, and Darrin Parker of Carlinville; and several nieces and nephews. His parents were A.J. Parker and Margaret June Parker. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at the Bethel Holiness Church in Melber with Judy Warran and Dathan Guthrie officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Martha's Vineyard, 900 N. 32nd St., Paducah, KY 42001. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Ron Foster, 63, of Calvert City died Monday evening, September 21, 2015, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation of Metropolis, Illinois. Mr. Foster was a retired production granite fabricator and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He is survived by his wife, Diana Kempf Foster of Calvert City; and one brother, Billy Foster of Battle Creek, Michigan. His parents were William Harvey and Evelyn Harris Foster. Military rites and burial will be held later at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Glenn Swinford, 45, of Smithland, formerly of Fredonia, died Monday, September 28, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Swinford retired as the Livingston County 911 Supervisor. He was a member of Fredonia, Smithland and Burna fire departments and served as the Livingston County Emergency Management Communications Coordinator. He is survived by his wife, Christal Curry Swinford; his parents, Tommy and Bonnie James Swinford of Kuttawa; one son, Bayler swinford of Smithland; and one nephew, Connor Curry. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Steve Stone officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County. Friends may call from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015, at the funeral home.

Charles L. Martin, 74 of Lincoln Park, was saved and went Home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2015. Charles was born in Burna (Mullikin) Kentucky on February 16, 1941. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Jean, parents Jess and Birdie Martin, 2 brothers and one sister. Survived by his daughters; Karen Martin and Sharon White, grandchildren; Jessica White and Travis White, great granddaughter Kailia Lynne White, his sisters Myra Lee (Joe) Wiggins and Carleen Edlemen. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Charles retired from Ford Motor Company and enjoyed watching sports. Visitation will be Friday, September 25th from 1-9pm and Saturday 10-11am with services at 11am at J.L.Peters Funeral Home, 3880 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146. 313- 928-6500.
