Ann Barnes, 69, of Kuttawa, formerly of Between the Rivers, died at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at her Home in Lyon County. She was a member of Higher Power Full Gospel Church in Eddyville. Mrs. Barnes is survived by three daughters, Venica Doublin of Fredonia, Melissa Love of Eddyville and Robin Joiner of Kuttawa; one son, Randy Barnes of Ehrhardt, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Jack Smith of Cottage Hills, Illinois, Bud Hastings of Eddyville, Ed Hastings of Milton, James Hastings of Eddyville and Bill Hastings of Kuttawa; three sisters, Inez Blaine of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Lillie Chandler of Kuttawa, and Ruth Imes of Prophetstown, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley F. Barnes; one grandson; one brother; and three sisters. Services were held Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Kenny Morrow officiating. Burial followed in Dickerson Cemetery in Between the Rivers. Caryl Compton, 78, of Calvert City, KY, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015, at her home. Caryl was blessed to have traveled the world with her family and friends. She loved new experiences and lived a life full of them. She loved to cook, play golf and bridge, work puzzles and entertain friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, sister-in-law, grandmother and friend. Her wisdom and generous spirit influenced them, and many of her children's friends called her mom. She inspired courage, optimism, independence and curiosity in all she met with her dignity and class. Caryl was a member of the Calvert City Country Club. She is survived by her husband, Henry "Bill" Compton of Calvert City, KY; a daughter, Sheren Compton LeBlanc of Spanish Fort, AL; a son, Kenneth W. Compton of Gilbertsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Jay LeBlanc and Michelle LeBlanc, both of Spanish Fort, AL. Caryl was preceded in death by her parents, William Grosh Clepper and Helen M. Wayne Gerald Browning, 73, of Reidland (Paducah), KY, passed away at home on December 8, 2015. Wayne worked for the JCPenney Company for more than 32 years in Muscatine, Iowa City, Burlington, Dubuque, and Sioux City, Iowa; and Greenwood, Indiana, in Personnel and Operations; and for Kitchens Inc. in Paducah for 10 years as a computer designer for kitchen and bath cabinetry. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, mother-in-law Mary E. Kirkland, and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerry & Carol Kirkland, Karen Kirkland Franzen, Don & Marcia Kirkland Ekin, and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, brother James C. Browning, and sister Kathleen Browning Beverlin. A Celebration of Life was held at Fletcher Hall located in the Grace Episcopal Church from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Interment will follow in the church memorial garden. Mr. Jerry Dee Wilson, 82, of Salem, KY, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at his home in Salem. Mr. Wilson was a retired teacher and administrator in the Livingston County School System for many years, and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was also an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Alescia Wilson of Salem; two daughters, Penny Akers and her husband David of Campbellsville, KY, Dee Wright and her husband Ronnie of Burna, KY; and one son, Jerrad Wilson of Salem, KY; two grandchildren, Daniel Wright, and Warren Akers; and one great grandchild, Mirah Akers. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Carroll and Gayle Catilla; father, Ollie Dee Wilson; mother, Muriel Tharp Wilson Catilla; and step father, Brice Catilla. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, with Bro. Chris Clark officiating. Mr. Keith Cooper, age 63, of Symsonia, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah, Kentucky. Born Friday, December 28, 1951, in Paducah, Kentucky, he began his career working at Ingersoll Rand Co. in Mayfield, Kentucky, then working for the Kaler Milling Company; and was currently a welding instructor for West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah, Kentucky. Keith was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Cindy (Allcock) Cooper of Symsonia, Kentucky; two sons, John Thomas Cooper of Symsonia, Kentucky, and Justin Lewis Cooper, wife Rebecca Faith of Symsonia, Kentucky; his mother, Hilda Jane (Moore) Cooper of Paducah, Kentucky; one brother, Kenny Cooper, wife Sherry of Nashville, Tennessee; and one sister, Suzie Mitchell of Ledbetter, Kentucky. Also surviving are one granddaughter, Abby Grace Cooper of Symsonia, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 6, 2015, in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, 211 W. Fifth St., Benton, Kentucky. The Rev. Jason Sharp and the Rev. Rick Miller will officiate the service. Interment followed in Clarks River Cemetery, Symsonia, Kentucky. Collier Funeral Home, Benton, Kentucky was in charge of arrangements. Leonard Murray, 95, of Eddyville died Friday, December 4, 2015, at River's Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Princeton. He is survived by his wife, Anna Lois Duncan Murray; one son, Lyndell Murray of Huntsville, Alabama; one daughter, Janet Dunwell of Kuttawa; one sister, Frances Baccus of Eddyville; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. His parents were Arthur and Verdie Stewart Murray. Services were held Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Steve McVay officiated. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1032 W. Main St., Princeton, KY 42445.

William "Bill" Giannini, 70, of Eddyville died Friday, December 4, 2015, at his home. He was self-employed in the real estate industry. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Marie Lange Giannini; one daughter, Jill Woodall of College Station, Texas; one brother, Raymond Giannini of Princeton; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Giannini Beshear; and one brother. His parents were William Wilkey and Dixie Leonard Towery Giannini. Services were held Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Jim Adams officiated. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Scott Parrish, 47, of Calvert City died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Lourdes hospital of Paducah. He was a retail manager for Eagle Inc. of Paris, Tennessee, and was of the non-denominational faith. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Parrish of Calvert City; one brother, Richard Parrish of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; two nieces; and one nephew. His father was Reggie R. Parrish. No services or burial are scheduled at this time. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Lynn Sauvage, age 91, passed away Saturday December 5, 2015 at his home. He was born December 31, 1923. He was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, and a member of Smithland Masonic Lodge #138. He retired from SKW after 32 years. Lynn is survived by his wife of 71 years, Kathleen Sauvage; twin Daughters, Diona Long (Larry) of Smithland, Ky. Iona Johnson (Eddie) of Forest Hill, Maryland. Grandsons Mark Long of Smithland, Ky. James Lynn Johnson & Chris Johnson of Forest Hill, Maryland. Great Granddaughters Ashton & Ally Long of Smithland, Ky. Samantha, Emily, Jackie and Kaylin Johnson all of Forest Hill, Maryland. Sisters Vivian Vaughn of Reidland, KY. Mary Z. Thomason of Marshall Co. Gloria Slayden of Murphysboro, Tn. Brother L.D. Sauvage Jr. of Calvert City, and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents Lorenzo Sauvage and Zetta Driskill Sauvage, Sister Lou Ella Coffer, Brothers Paul Sauvage and Devon Sauvage. Funeral Service were held Tuesday at Iuka Baptist Church with burial in Paradise Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Williams officiating. Online condolences may left at smithfc.com.
