Hilda M. Cooper, 91, of Paducah, died at 4:20 am Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is by her children, Suzie Mitchell of Ledbetter, KY and Dr. Kenny Cooper and wife Sherry of Nashville, TN; daughter in law, Cindy Cooper, of Symsonia, KY; six grandchildren, Johnathan (Jill) Cooper of Nashville, TN, Joshua (Rosa) Cooper of Salida, CO, John Cooper of Symsonia,KY, Justin (Becky) Cooper of Symsonia,KY, Matthew (Morgan) Cooper of Louisville,KY, and Jordan Mitchell of Ledbetter, KY; sisters, Marguerite Kinney of Evansville, IN, Judith Rudolph of Paducah,KY, and Patricia Holliday of Paducah, KY; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Charles Cooper; son, Keith Cooper; son-in-law, Harvey Mitchell; and her parents, Rudy and Gracie Feezor Moore. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Kenny Cooper and Rev. Faris Sahawneh officiating. Frances Mildred Byassee, 82, of Grand Rivers, passed away at 1:49 am on December, 25, 2015 at Baptist Health. She was a homemaker and a member of Nazarene Faith. She is survived by her daughter, Debora Byassee Coln and husband Steve, of Jonesville KY; three sons, Larry W. Lynch and wife Gail, of Grand Rivers, KY, Charles L. Lynch and wife Elisha of Brookport, IL, Kenneth J. Byassee and wife Barbie of Symsonia, KY; two half brothers; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe C. Byassee; four sisters, three half sisters, and one brother. Her parents were Simon Woodford, and Pearl Schroder Woodford. Howard L. Thomas, 89, of Fredonia died at 4:05 a.m.Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Crittenden County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marion. He is survived by one daughter, Peggy Fine of Eddyville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Mary Jane Brown Thomas; two brothers; and four sisters. His parents were Artus Ferd and Ethel Ora Boyd Thomas. Services were held Monday, December 28, 2015, at Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County with The Rev. Shane Board officiating. Linda Martin Volonino Mullen, 75, of Gilbertsville died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Faith Hospice of Holland in Byron Center, Michigan. Mrs. Mullen was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Euel Mullen; one daughter, Tana Weeks of Belmont, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Volonino; and one daughter, Jana Smith. Her parents were Denzel Leon Martin and Lois Miranda Karnes Martin. Services were held Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with Glen Stewart and Bill Ramsey officiating. Burial followed in Briensburg Cemetery.

Billy Guill, 88, of Paducah died at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015, at his home. Mr. Guill was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Jackson Purchase Electric. He was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church.
