Livingston Ledger Open House
Many thanks to all our friends and neighbors for braving the cold to come out and meet us at our Livingston Ledger's Open House on Wednesday. It was great to see old friends and make many new ones.
Even though the cities in the county are spread apart, I feel a sense of community everywhere I go. Everyone I meet in the County are friendly and feel like family.
As people came and went I listened as they talked of the pride they have for their community. Many praised the Livingston County Road Department for a job well done during the bad weather. They expressed gratitude for the hard work the department did working diligently in cold and dangerous situations. Some went beyond what was required of them and it was greatly appreciated. If you see one of these guys show them your appreciation as well as others who worked to keep things as close to normal as possible.
We hope you are enjoying our new sports coverage by Greg Vincent a.k.a. Coach G. We really appreciate his devotion to the students at all the County schools. His coverage of the local sporting events is greatly appreciated and we hope you enjoy reading about what our students are accomplishing. Coach G will report the good and the bad in an honest encouraging way and will always encourage our students to do their best.
As your new Editor I hope you will bear with me as I learn your names and the roll you play in the community. Rebekah Tatum, Our Ad Sales Rep and I want to be available as much as possible to cover the events and news happening in Livingston County and the surrounding area. We would also love to include events and news from the Marion and Princeton areas for our West Kentucky Pennyrile Edition. Please give us a call with any news or special events you or your group may be having. We would love to let the community know. You may email it to email@example.com or call 270-442-7389.
