James Howard Sullivan
Bardwell. James “Jim”
Sullivan, 83, of Bardwell died at
4:55pm on Sunday, November
9th, at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Sullivan was a member
of Bardwell Baptist Church, a
US Army veteran of WWII, a
life member of Bardwell VFW
#5409 and a farmer.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by
his wife Wanda Mae Brown
Sullivan; daughters Sherylann
and husband immy Todd of
Cunningham, and Debbie and
husband Kerry Jackson of Fancy
Farm; son Steve Sullivan of
Bardwell; sister Bobby Sullivan
Yates of Bardwell; grandchildren
James Lynn and wife Shanna
Sullivan of Hardin, Kyle
Jackson, Ryan Jackson and Erin
Jackson all of Fancy Farm,
Whitley Todd of Murray, and
Logan Todd of Cunningham;
great grandchildren Shandra
Sullivan and Steve Brett
Sullivan both of Hardin; and
several neices and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his
parents Burnice D. and Ruth
Hogancamp Sullivan; and brothers
Ralph Sullivan and George
Sullivan.
Funeral services were held on
Wednesday, November 12th at
the Milner and Orr Funeral
Home of Bardwell followed by
burial in the Roselawn
Cemetery in Bardwell. Bro.
Brandon Wilson and Bro.
Rodney Bice officiated.

Ermon Parker
Ballard County. Willie Ermon
Parker died on November 13,
2008, at age 94 after a courageous
battle ending with kidney
failure in Paducah.
Ermon was a native of Ballard
County, born May 13, 1914, to
her late parents, William and
Minnie Graves. Ermon and Jesse
Edward Parker married April 18,
1936. They shared 43 years of
marriage and shared three children.
Ermon retired from Sears
Roebuck & Co. after 25 years
and was a faithful member of
Margaret Hank Memorial
Cumberland Presbyterian
Church.
Ermon is survived by three
children, Judith Taylor and husband
Sandy of Vero Beach, Fla.,
Janet Cox and husband Jim of
Gentry, Ark., and Neal Parker
and wife Charry of New
Concord, Ky.; three brothers;
five sisters; four grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and her husband,
Jesse, preceded her in
death.
Services were held on
Monday, November 17, 2008, at
the Lindsey Funeral Home with
the Rev. Doug Kineman officiated
with burial following at the
Maplelawn Cemetery.

LaCenter. Lila M. Russell
died Friday, November 14th at
Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Russell was a member
of Ohio Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of
60 years, Herman Russell; two
sons, Allen Lee Russell of
Denver and Steven Charles
Russell of Traverse City, Mich.;
and three grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday,
Nov 18, at Morrow Funeral
Chapel in LaCenter with the
Rev. Don Pippin officiating.
Burial followed at Antioch
Baptist Church Cemetery.
Madeline Spencer
LaCenter. Madeline Spencer,
90, of LaCenter, formerly of
Oscar, died at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov 15th, at her
home.
Pansy Farmer
Cunningham. Pansy Boswell
Farmer, 94, of Cunningham died
at 1:05pm Thursday at
Countryside Healthcare Center
in Bardwell.
Mrs. Farmer was a member of
Corinth United Methodist
Church and a retired teacher.
Surviving are several nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her first husband, Champ H.
Ralls; her second husband,
Victor Farmer; and one son,
Robert “Bob” Ralls. Her parents
were Charlie C. Boswell and
Almina Peck Boswell.
Graveside services were
Saturday, November 15th at
Cunningham Memorial Gardens
where the Rev. Phillip McClure
officiated.

Brenda Daniels
Wickliffe. Brenda Daniels, 61,
of Wickliffe died at 8:18 a.m.
Wednesday at Western Baptist
Hospital.
She was a member of New
Liberty General Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son,
Clinton Thomas Daniels of
Wickliffe; three daughters, Kathy
Dunning of Wickliffe, Lana Lee
Daniels of LaCenter and Rebecca
Bing of Kevil; two brothers,
Jesse Davidson of Union City,
Tenn., and Bruce Davidson of
Kenton, Tenn.; two sisters,
Virginia Williams of Hickman
and Sally Copeland of Dresden,
Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.
Her parents were Zellier A.
and Helen Davidson.
Services were held on
Saturday at Morrow Funeral
Chapel at 11:00am with the
Rev. Leon Bellamy Jr. officiating.
Burial followed at the
Barlow Cemetery.
Victoria Ann Elrod
Barlow. Victoria Ann Elrod,
64, of Barlow, Ky., died early
Monday, November 10, 2008, at
the home of her daughter, Loryn
Riden. Memorial services will

Victoria loved auctions,
antiques, attending estate sales,
and was an entrepreneur.
In addition to her parents she
was predeceased by a brother,
Nick Reichert. She is survived
by her daughters, Loryn Riden,
and her husband Eric, of Aiken,
and Celeste McCoy, and her husband
Travis, of Louisville, Ky.;
and six cherished grandchildren,
Hannah Riden, Olivia Riden,
John Riden, Sophia Riden,
Braun Martin, and Lincoln
Martin.

Kevil. Cornie L. Cooper, 82,
of Kevil died at 10:30am
Saturday at Life Care Center of
LaCenter.
She was a member of Kevil
United Methodist Church and its
United Methodist Women. She
was a member and treasurer of
the Eastern Star, Grahamville
Lodge #494 F&AM and a member
of Kevil Homemakers.
She is survived by one daughter,
Carole Monday of Dexter;
three grandchildren, Adam Webb
of Charlotte, N.C., Misty
Williams of Hardin, and Nick
Webb of Paducah; and five greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Eugene Cooper;
one daughter, Teresa Webb; and
one grandson. Her parents were
Cap Vaughn and Bernice Long
Vaughn.
