Project Graduation fast approaching

Each year graduating seniors at Livingston Central High School look forward to Graduation Day. The graduating class of 2014 are also looking forward to Project Graduation, an all-night, substance-free party for Livingston County High School seniors only.

This year Project Graduation will begin on Friday, May 16th immediately following graduation and go until 5:00 AM. The students will participate in a variety of fun activities and entertainment. Lots of food will be provided and prizes will be awarded. Adult volunteers will chaperone the seniors to ensure their safety.

Project Graduation is a totally self-supporting program sponsored by the event organizers and funded by the generosity of parents, friends and family as well as business owners from the surrounding area.

Fund raising events are a must if this event is to be successful. On Saturday March 29th a Pancake Breakfast was held in the high school cafeteria. Friends and family came out to enjoy a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage and bacon. Several high school seniors volunteered their time to make this a successful event.

On April 26th a Spaghetti Dinner and Auction will be held in the high school cafeteria from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you have an item you would like to donate for the auction please contact the school office for further information.

If you would like to show your support of this very important event you may make a financial contribution by mailing a check payable to LCHS-Project Graduation PO Box 4, Smithland, Kentucky 42081. Please help us give our graduating seniors a night to remember as they celebrate Graduation in a safe environment.
