Paducah, KY - Broussard's Cajun Cuisine has started renovations in the former Whaler's Catch building on 2nd St in Downtown Paducah. It was announced last November that the popular Cape Girardeau, Missouri restaurant would open a second location.
The new restaurant will have two levels of dining, spacious patio area, outdoor activities, and a catering service. Along with a new building will come a new staff. This past week, General Manager, Patrick Abbott, said they'll be accepting applications soon and plan to start with the management team. Once management is in place, they'll decide how many staff members are needed and specific positions. The plan is to hire approximately 50 fulltime and part-time employees. Positions will include chefs, kitchen crew, servers, bartenders, hosts, hostesses, and all those in between.
The original Broussard's Cajun Cuisine is located right next to the Mississippi River in Downtown Cape Girardeau. Their goal is to provide authentic Southwest Louisiana cuisine at reasonable prices. You can expect to see a large selection of bayou favorites like shrimp, chicken, crawfish and gator etouffee, cajun stir frys, shrimp creole, jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, and so much more.
