Princeton, KY is in for a real treat, as Stringbeans Coffee House gets ready to make its debut this Saturday during Black Patch Festival.  Owners, Daniel and Nicole Adams say the doors will open at 8 am this Saturday, and will close at 10 pm.  This is to coincide with Black Patch Festival hours.  However, their normal business hours will begin at 6 am for those early birds who take off to work in the surrounding areas such as Hopkinsville, Cadiz, Dawson Springs, etc. You can pick up a “Cup of Joe” and add to it just about anything you’d like.
Stringbeans Coffee House will specialize in espresso-based coffee drinks and gourmet coffees.  Also on the menu will be wraps, sandwiches, salads and soups, cookies, pastries, breakfast muffins and bagels.
“This has been a dream of ours for about 12 years now,” says Adams. “The building has been in the family for at least 20 years. It belonged to my grandfather, Ed Hicks, and we purchased it about 5 years ago. When it became empty it really needed some work and as we began the repair my wife and I said to ourselves, ‘It’s now or never’, so we began and as it progressed we wanted to keep the building true to its era.”
Daniel and Nicole are looking forward to being able to provide the local community a great family atmosphere and a venue, which provides an opportunity for live music. Daniel says, “Music has always been a very big part of our lives and we’ve always wanted to provide a place for local musicians to perform and display their talent.”
The coffee house plans to have live music on Friday and Saturday nights at least a couple times a month. If you want to keep up with the events, specials, music or whatever else will be happening at the Stringbeans Coffee House, check them out on Facebook/Stringbeans.
Hours are Monday – Thursday 6 am to 5 pm and on Friday and Saturday – 6 am to 10 pm.
They are located at 108 East Main Street, Princeton KY. 42445
