“This has been a dream of ours for about 12 years now,” says Adams. “The building has been in the family for at least 20 years. It belonged to my grandfather, Ed Hicks, and we purchased it about 5 years ago. When it became empty it really needed some work and as we began the repair my wife and I said to ourselves, ‘It’s now or never’, so we began and as it progressed we wanted to keep the building true to its era.”
Daniel and Nicole are looking forward to being able to provide the local community a great family atmosphere and a venue, which provides an opportunity for live music. Daniel says, “Music has always been a very big part of our lives and we’ve always wanted to provide a place for local musicians to perform and display their talent.”
The coffee house plans to have live music and nights at least a couple times a month. If you want to keep up with the events, specials, music or whatever else will be happening at the Stringbeans Coffee House, check them out on Facebook/Stringbeans.
