Teeters Antiques and Collectables now open in Bardwell

BARDWELL - A once established and prominent business "Teeters Antiques" after years of being closed is once again open for business.

The business is owned by Zane and Phyllis Teeters but is under the management of Zane Jr. and wife Dawn who recently moved to the area from Michigan.

The late Bailey and Lucille Teeters of Bardwell first opened Teeter's Antique Shop in 1975. Their son Zane later ran the store until he closed due of health issues.

Zane Jr. and Dawn both come from a long line of antique lovers and know almost everything about buying and selling antiques.

The Teeters have many plans for the business. When they are not working in the store they are out checking out and buying new merchandise. They also like to refurbish and bring old pieces back to life again.

Teeters Antiques and Collectables is located on highway 51 in Bardwell. They officially opened Friday August 29. They are open Tuesday-Sunday.
