A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans asphalt paving along a section of KY 121 in Ballard County starting Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Paving along KY 121 in Ballard County runs from the Mayfield Creek Bridge at the Ballard-Carlisle County Line extending northward to the Shelton Creek Bridge at milepoint 5.368.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Jim Smith Contracting is the prime contractor on this $455,279 highway improvement project. The project is expected to take about 2 to 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
