Orville O’Daniel, age 79, of Paducah, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the McCracken County Nursing and Rehab Center in Paducah. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Soon OK O’Daniel, of Paducah, one son, Franklin Dean O’Daniel, of Richmond, California, one sister, Barbara Roof, of Paducah, three brothers, Gene O’Daniel, of Paducah, Lawrence O’Daniel, of Locust Grove, Virginia, and Robert O’Daniel, of Deltona, Florida, along with a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were October 10, 2013, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Wayne Carter officiating.  Burial with full military honors will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the West Kentucky Easter Seals Center, 801 North 29th  Street, Paducah, Kentucky. 42001.

Mary C. Tobin, 92, of Paducah, died at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, in Paducah. She is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be at noon Friday, October 11, 2013, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Roby officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002-7100.

Kaleb Thompson, 18, of Lone Oak died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013, due to a wreck on New Hope Church Road. Arrangements were incomplete at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah.

Julia Nell Wood, 86, of Paducah, passed away Monday, October 7th, 2013, at Morningside Assisted Living in Paducah. Surviving are two sons, Stephen A. (Rosalie) Wood of Brentwood, TN., and Harold L. (Ruth) Wood of Paducah; one daughter, Suzanne (Gary) Spiceland of Paducah; five grandsons; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters. Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Roth Funeral Chapel of Paducah is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Fountain Avenue Methodist Church Renovation Project, at 300 Fountain Ave., Paducah, KY 42001.

Kenneth R. Nix, 53, of Paducah, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Surviving are his father, Max Nix of Washington; his mother, Virginia R. Reiff of Northville, Mich.; one brother, Steven Nix of Michigan; and one sister, Beverly Bremer of Northville, Mich. No services are scheduled. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

 Misty Ray Crouch, 36, of Mayfield, formerly of Tiline, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at her home. She is survived by two daughters, Khepreisha and Au’Jha Robinson of Mayfield; her mother, Glenda Crouch of Mayfield, and two sisters, Donna Crouch of Wingo and Lisa Crouch Helton of Ledbetter. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, at Wingo Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Clark officiating. There will be no services. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Joseph Bodine Burgess, age 90, of Mayfield, passed away at 5:44 A.M.Tuesday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ladd Burgess; one nephew, David Burgess, Lexington; three nieces, Jeanna Burgess Davidson, Bartlett, TN., Mary Belle Gettys, Knoxville, TN., and Donna Cross, Vancouver, Canada. Funeral services were Oct. 10, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Phillip Raley and James Tacker officiating. Entombment in Dublin Baptist Church Cemetery. Graveside military rites were conducted by American Legion Post #26.

Winston Hale, 31, of Paducah died at 3:48 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013, at Morgan County ARH Hospital in West Liberty. He is survived by his wife, Heather Renee (Ewing) Hale; his daughter, Brooklyn Ann Hale; and his father, Jamie Hale, all of Paducah. Services were October 9, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Terry Tipton officiating. Burial at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: West McCracken County Volunteer Fire Dept., 9340 Ogden Landing Road, W. Albert S. ‘Mike’ Friedmann, 88, of Paducah, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Friedmann is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carleen Mitchell Friedmann; two grandsons, Christopher Blake Scheer and wife Stacey of Paducah and Paul Anthony Liebetrau and wife LeNae of Santa Cruz, CA.; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Scheer, Izzy Scheer, Abby Scheer, Katiana Liebetrau and David Liebetrau. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Dennis Robert Leigh, 77, of Mayfield died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Ellard Leigh; one son, Dennis G. Leigh of Newton, Mass.; three daughters, Barbara MacLean of Newton, Mass.; Deborah Leigh of Henderson, Nev., and Karen Leigh of Mayfield, 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were October 10, 2013, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield with Mike Clapp officiating.
