Ricky D. Bond I, affectionately known as "Pappy Rick" went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 18th, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith. Pappy Rick was born on October 26, 1954. He was a graduate of Reidland High School and Blackhawk Barber College. He was an active member of Oasis Christian Center. Pappy was a Paducah Chapter Elder of Bikers for Christ from 2008-February 2014. He was a member of Patriot Guard Riders and passionate about his work with Tent City Missions, Lighthouse Women's Home and was a chaplain with the McCracken County Jail Ministries. Pappy had a huge heart for his family. He was a loving husband, son, brother and friend. He was a proud dad and a prouder Pappy. But most importantly, he loved his Heavenly Father. Funeral services were Dec. 22 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Larry Starnes and Rev. Joe Vance officiating. Entombment at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A special thanks to the staff at Lourdes Hospital, especially ICU 3rd floor, food service and Lourdes Hospice. Roy Bohannon Sr. age 76, of Hickory, KY died at 10:19 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital. Mr. Bohannon was a member of Victory Assembly Worship Center, a retired District Manager with Consumer Oil Company and well known at Scot Market in Lone Oak, a KY Colonel and a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Funeral services were December 23, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Gary DeRossett officiating. Burial at Allcock Cemetery in Melber, KY. Craig Carneal Hook, age 60, of Paducah, passed away at 12:46 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. Mr. Hook was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a pharmaceutical sales representative with Purdue Pharma. A memorial service was held December 23, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Paducah with Rev. Lynn Shurley officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Billye G. Cotter, 56, of Paducah died on Thursday December 11, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. She was born September 20, 1958 in Cairo, Illinois to Martell Carter and Pauline King Terrell. She was a U.S Navy veteran and a security officer at Kentucky Oaks Mall. A graveside service was held December 22, 2014. Rev. Dee Hazelwood officiated. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Lou Boswell, age 76, of Paducah, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at her residence. Mary Lou was a retired assistant manager with Save A Lot Grocery Store and a member of Heartland Worship Center. A graveside service was held December, 22, 2014 at Liberty Cemetery in Folsomdale, KY with Rev. Stan Reid officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Clara LaVera Kaufman Wurtz, 101, of the St. John community, McCracken County, died on Sunday, December 21, 2014 surrounded by her family. A lifelong and devoted member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, she was born on March 16, 1913. Services were held December 23 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with funeral mass officiated by Rev. Tom Buckman. Burial at St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. John the Evangelist Catholic church Building Fund, 6705 Old U.S. 45 South, Paducah, KY 42003. Evelyn Hicks Overbey, 95, of Murray died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Murray Memorial Gardens with Johnny Parker officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.

Johnny Marshall, 64, of Eddyville died at 10:12 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Ricky Conger officiating. Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 25, 2014, at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Chloe R. Howard, 94, of Calvert City were at 2 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Bethlehem Cemetery. Murray Riley officiated. Mrs. Howard died at 3:34 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2014, at her home. She retired from the Marshall County School System, where she worked as a cook and a bus driver. She was a member of Sharpe Church of Christ. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home in Benton was in charge of arrangements.

Services for Thelma Smith Pickering, 96, of Princeton was held December 23, 2014, at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Cliff Jones officiated. Burial in Lebanon Cemetery in Caldwell County. Mrs. Pickering died Monday, December 22, 2014, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of First Christian Church of Princeton. She was the retired owner and operator of the Tiny Cafe in Princeton for 41 years.

Paul Donald Anderson, 80, of Benton died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with Curtis Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Benton Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Other arrangements were incomplete.

Jack Joe Mallicoat, 93, of Mayfield died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Mr. Mallicoat was of the Pentecostal faith and retired from K&B Contractors. Private family memorial services will be later.

Dorothy Faye West, 86, of Water Valley, formerly of Alamo, Tennessee, died at 4:08 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Heritage Manor Healthcare Facility. Mrs. West was a homemaker and a member of Cuba Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Alamo Cemetery in Alamo. There will be no visitation. Friends may meet at the cemetery Tuesday morning. Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo and Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield are in charge of arrangements.

Brenda Jones, 55, of Sedalia died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. Mrs. Jones was a member of Cuba Church of Christ and was an employee of Briggs and Stratton in Murray. Services were December 23, 2014, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield with Will McSweeney officiating. Interment at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
