Ruth Jane Swift, 76, of Paducah, died Monday, January 5, 2015 at her home. Jane was born in Paducah on October 8, 1938 to the late Ed Glisson and Myrtle Estes Bolen. She retired from Sears after 40 years employment as a credit clerk, credit investigator and delivery coordinator. The family would like to thank Jane's medical support staff, Dr. Richard Smith, Dr. Kenneth Ford, Dr. Steven McCullough, Laura Kelso, P.A., and Dr. Carl Baker. Graveside services were Thursday at Benton Cemetery with Rev. Russ Wilson officiating. Delores Walker Wilkins, 79, of Paducah passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah. She was a retired pharmacy clerk and loved having fun with family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 10, 2014, at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum starting at 10 a.m. with Brother Todd Hawkins officiating. Morris A. Bobo, 92, of Paducah passed away at 10:43 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015. Mr. Bobo was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He was a member of Heartland Worship Center. Services will be Friday, January 9, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Hines officiating. Burial will be at the Palestine Cemetery. William Davis "Bill" Bradford Jr. passed from this life to a better one Sunday, January 4, 2015, at 7:50 a.m. at Southgate Nursing and Rehab in Metropolis, Illinois. He suffered with Alzheimer's disease and kidney failure. Bill was born in Huntsville, Alabama, June 5, 1940, to William Bradford Sr. and Budell Griffin Bradford. At the age of 9 they moved to Collierville, Tennessee. He graduated from Germantown High School in 1958 and received his bachelor's and master's degrees in music from Memphis State University. In 1963 he started his teaching career at Fayette County High School in Somerville, Tennessee. It was during this time he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Slayton, at White Station Church of Christ in Memphis. They married May 15, 1965, and their son, Billy, and daughter, Beth, were born while living in Somerville. In 1975 they moved to Kentucky and he took the band director position at Reidland High School. After retiring in 2000 he taught band and choir at Massac Junior High in Metropolis, Illinois, for one year and Livingston, Kentucky, for one year. He also coordinated student music teachers for Murray State University. In all Bill taught 36 years. Bill was a member of the Reidland Lions Club and served one year as president. He was the director and assistant director for the Kentucky All State Lions Club Band. Bill was a faithful member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Paducah. During his Christian walk he served as song leader, Bible teacher, deacon, elder and life group leader. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Dan Owen officiating. Entombment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Elizabeth "Liz" Jane Cass, 50, of Paducah died at 9:52 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. She worked for Tapps Remodeling and in the deli at Banks Market. Private family memorial services will be planned for a later date. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Aiden Ray Suiter, the infant son of Kennith Suiter and Aaliyah Pilcher, of Mayfield died Friday, January 2, 2015, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Byrn Funeral Home. Friends may call from 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Charles Edward Harper, 79, of Kuttawa died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Harper was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at Bethany Cemetery in Lyon County with the Rev. Mac Anderson officiating. There will be no public visitation. Dunn's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ovid Forsythe, 86, of Princeton died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. He retired from ITT Grinnell, was a self-employed farmer, an Army veteran serving in the Korean War and member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Revs. Leslie Joyce and Ken Cummins officiating. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery in Caldwell County with military rights.

Eddie Hayden Dycus, 87, of Eddyville died at 10 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton. Mr. Dycus was a member of Eddyville First Baptist Church. He was a 66-year member of Joppa Masonic Lodge 167 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Services were January 8, 2015, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Revs. Steve McVay and Tim Purdue officiating. Burial in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lyon County Lions Club.

Jack Wimberly, 73, of Princeton died Monday, January 5, 2015, at his home. He was a retired carpenter, member of Blue Spring Missionary Baptist Church and veteran of the Korean War. Graveside services were Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Oliver Cemetery in Trigg County.

Talmadge Carmen Riley, 95, of Benton, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at his home. He worked as a farmer and carpenter, was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Collier Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Joe Daryl Thorn and Robert McKinney officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Benton. Expressions of sympathy may be made to: Pleasant Grove UMC Building Fund, 16 Wadesboro Road S., Benton, KY 42025.

Matilde Hansen Canady, 88, of Murray died Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Gwinnett Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Canady was a homemaker and a member of St. Leo Catholic Church. Pat Dale Orr, 80, of Murray, died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. He retired from General Tire in Mayfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ. Services were January 8, 2015, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial in Murray Memorial Gardens.
