Dustin Kent Herzog, 36, of Paducah, died Tuesday at his home. Dustin was born in Paducah, KY on May 11, 1979. He was an adult survivor of childhood cancer. Dustin had worked in construction before he became disabled, most recently for Heflin Construction and ViWinTech and was known as a handyman who built decks, carpentry, and any type of home improvement. Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Wayne Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Herzog Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Isiah Shaw, 84, of Paducah died at 7:08 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Shaw was of the Baptist faith. He retired as a commercial roofer and foreman with Hannan Roofing and Sheet Metal Company. He was the oldest member of 61 years with the Roofers' Local No. 106 of Evansville, Indiana, and a former member of Stone Square Lodge No. 5. His parents were Pink Shaw and Leona Turner Shaw. Services will be at noon Friday, June 19, 2015, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James L. Hudson and the Rev. Clayton W. Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

John Allen Green, 70, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Paducah, KY died at home on April 11, 2015. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 8, 1944. His family later moved to Fulton, KY where he worked as an auto mechanic and at Hadley Adhesive. He moved to Paducah after being hired by Union Carbide. He also worked for Martin-Marietta, and later retired from USEC as a maintenance welder in Paducah, Kentucky in 2004. In 2006, he moved to Lakeland, FL and worked at Manheim Auto Auction. Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm Friday June 19, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Rev. Brandt Lyon will Officiate. Kara Michelle Bradley, 23, of Metropolis died Monday, June 15, 2015, at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Victory Full Gospel Church with Jack Rushing and Penny Emery officiating. Burial will be in Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Ms. Bradley attended Victory Full Gospel Church.

Mr. Melvin William Bremer, age 86, of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at the Metropolis Rehab and Health Care Center. Mrs. Virginia "Ginny" Lynn Turner, age 57, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015, peacefully at home after fighting the good fight for several years. Funeral services were June 18, 2015, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Rev. Galen Stewart officiating. Burial in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Virginia was born on October 16, 1957, in DuQuoin, IL, to William and Charlene (Neville) Brooks. She married Gary W. Turner on June 18, 1994. Through the years, she thoroughly enjoyed working in the music ministry of her church, creating and directing several programs for the youth, making sure every child had a part. Ronny Hammons, 71, of Caldwell County died Monday, June 15, 2015, at his home following a long illness. He was a retired riverboat chief engineer, owner of Hammons Automotive in Princeton, an Air Force veteran, and member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church. He received numerous trophies for racing motorcycles. At the age of 67, he raced a car for the last time. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Duane Burden officiating. Floyd Hamby, 87, of Princeton died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at his home. He was a truck driver for a construction company, member of Second Baptist Church and served on the Princeton Fire Department for 10 years. John Lynnwood Walls, 78, of Murray died Monday, June 15, 2015, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. He was a Navy veteran and a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church. Services will be at 12 Noon Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Heritage Family Funeral Home in Murray with the Rev. Ronald Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow in Murray Cemetery. Betty L. Meadows-Mohundro, 83, of Murray died at 10:42 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2015, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She retired after 27 years from Murray Municipal Utilities and was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church. Graveside services were June 18, 2015, in Hicks Cemetery with the Rev. Kyler Danielle Herndon, 23, of Cadiz died Monday, June 15, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Trigg County High School in 2010, and she had worked at Wal-Mart in Princeton and Prizer Point and Lake Barkley Marinas. Her mother was Melissa "Missy" Herndon.

Billy W. Wyatt, 60, of Cadiz died Saturday, June 13, 2015, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. He retired as the maintenance supervisor for Southeast Tube in Cadiz after 18 years. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Services were June 17, 2015, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with Rev. Billy Hart officiating. Burial at Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Glenn Faughn, 66, of Kuttawa died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Lyon County, Joppa Masonic Lodge No. 167, VFW Lodge, American Legion, Elks Club, all in Princeton, and the Eagles Club in Morganfield.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Humphry Faughn; his mother, Juanita Dunnagan Faughn of Eddyville; two daughters, Tracey Fitzgerald and Haley Faughn, both of Lebanon, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Tony Faughn of Edmond, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Hylan Faughn.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with Ordell Dunagan officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Larry Dale Herndon, 69, of Murray died Monday, June 15, 2015, at his home. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and a self-employed construction worker. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Westside Baptist Church. Julia Merle Elder, 70, of Fancy Farm died at 7:05 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. She was a retired inspector for Garan Clothing and member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with the Revs. Darrell Venters and David Willett officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Jerome Mausoleum. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Alvin Lyell, 65, of Mayfield died at 5 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Daystar Nursing & Rehab Center in Cairo, Illinois. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and a mechanic at Hawkins Auto Salvage. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Wayne Rambo officiating. Burial will be in North Mt. Zion Cemetery.
