Patrick Norman Lyles, 71, of Kevil, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Ray and Kay Eckstein ­­Center. He retired as a supervisor at Tennessee Valley Authority in the late 1990's and was a member of TVA Union. Pat was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5-8pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Contributions may be made to Friends of Clark's River Wildlife Refuge Conservation, P.O. Murrell Lyell Wallace, 95, of Paducah passed away at 5:30 pm on Monday, August 31, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. Murrell retired after 31 years as Manager in food service with Paducah Tilghman High School, was a member of the National Food Service Association and The Retired Breakfast Club. She was named a Duchess of Paducah. Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace will be 1:00 pm on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Jim Faughn officiating. Burial will follow at Pottsville Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Wallace will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Ricky Fredrick Pitsenberger, 54, of Paducah died Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at his home. Mr. Pitsenberger was a self-employed laborer. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Haymes Cemetery in Benton. Dennis Lawrence will officiate. Interment will follow. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.

Barbara Nell James, 51, of Paducah died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. She was a homemaker. Services will be held at a later date. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.

Leslie Lanier, 81, of West Paducah died at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015, at Superior Care Home in Paducah. Mr. Lanier was a member of Grace Valley Baptist Church and the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union No. 184. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War era. Services were September 4, 2015, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Glen Crowe officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.

Charlotte Carneal Wilson, age 87, of Paducah, passed away at 5:30 p.m.on August 30, 2015, at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. Mrs. Wilson graduated from Heath High School in 1947 and Paducah Beauty School in 1949. She was a member of Harmony Baptist in Grahamville, KY, since she was 18 years old. She had a love of music and was a talented singer. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson were September 3, 2015, with Rev. Jewell Barrett officiating. Burial at Palestine Cemetery in Paducah, KY. Katie Reen Morris Reeder, 98, of Murray died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray. She was a member of the West Murray Church of Christ. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with James Hahn officiating. Burial will be at the Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at the funeral home.

Gerald Robert Roy "Jerry" Miller, 82, of Murray, formerly of Walkerville, Ontario, Canada, died Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. Mr. Miller was a retired teamster truck driver of over 30 years, and was an Army corporal during the Korean War. His parents were Gordon Miller and Mercy Polcock Miller. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Max E. Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Murray City Cemetery.

David Lampkins, 66, of Murray died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his home. In 2014, Mr. Lampkins retired as an English as a Second Language Teacher at Murray State University after nine years. He also taught business and Distributive Education classes at Marshall County Technical School for more than 34 years, retiring in 2004. He was named Kentucky Teacher of the Year in 1979 and Kentucky Marketing Education Teacher of the Year in 1997-98, 2002-03, and 2003-04. Mr. Lampkins was a member of Hardin Baptist Church, where he served as SundaySchool Superintendent and Deacon. He also served as Blood River Baptist Association Treasurer from 1987 to 1994. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Hardin Baptist Church with Ricky Cunningham officiating. Burial will be at Scott's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Kory Cunningham officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the missions work at Hardin Baptist Church. Imes Funeral Home in Murray is in charge of the arrangements.

Josephine Murphey, 93, of Wingo died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a retired floral worker. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with the Rev. Ike Murphey officiating. Burial will be in the Wingo Cemetery.

Lottie Gay Allen, 97, of Sedalia died at 6:02 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015, at her home. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church in Paducah. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, with the Rev. Jim Leek officiating. Burial will be in the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery near Dublin.

Tony Ray Swatzell, 51, of Hickory died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Mr. Swatzell was a member of the Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Masonic Lodge, and was a former car salesman. A memorial visitation was held September 1, 2015, at the Clarks River Baptist Church Fellowship Center near Symsonia. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mayfield-Graves County Humane Society, 500 N. 12th St., Mayfield, KY 42066.

Evelyn Nichols Kirk, 91, of Marion died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at Crittenden Health Systems. She was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will be in Frances Cemetery. Margaret Louise Oliver Hopper, 93, of Princeton died Friday, August 28, 2015, at The Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Hopper was a retired supervisor at Cumberland Manufacturing Company and a charter member of Southside Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Southside Baptist Church in Princeton. Burial will be in Princeton Memorial Gardens. Patricia "Peggy" Bennett, 79, of Eddyville died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at River's Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa. Mrs. Bennett was a retired insurance agent with Lyon County Insurance and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Tom D. McKinney, 73, of Cadiz died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz. Mr. McKinney was a former teacher in the Trigg County School System, serving as a basketball coach in middle school and high school and middle school football and track coach. Upon his retirement from teaching, he worked as a charter boat captain in Venice, Louisiana, and with Cundiff Farms in Trigg County. A memorial service was held September 2, 2015, at St. Peters Of The Lakes Episcopal Church, 47 Black River Road, Gilbertsville, with Dr. Tom Martin and the Rev. Nick Jaeger officiating. Christopher Feltner, 27, of Cadiz died Monday, August 31, 2015, at his home. He was employed by Ricky Jones Construction and was a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church. Services were September 3, 2015, at King's Funeral Home with the Rev. James Rodman Redd III officiating. Burial in Trigg Memory Acres.
