Woodward signs a scholarship to St. Catharine College

Livingston Central High School standout Austin Woodward is joined by his parents, sister, high school golf coach and St. Catharine College golf coach Joan Rizer as he signs a scholarship to St. Catharine College.

While a high school student-athlete, Woodward played baseball and golf. He is an honor roll student, a starter on the basketball team and a six year member of the LCHS golf team. “I chose St. Catharine’s because it is a good place to start my college golf career,” said Woodward, adding that he is excited about developing as a player and studying at SCC.
St. Catharine College is located just outside of historic Bardstown, Kentucky. The SCC Patriot golf team just completed a successful fall season and is picked sixth in the Mid-South Conference pre-spring polls.

Austin is the son of Darren and Ronica Woodward of Ledbetter. He plans to pursue a degree in education and would like to teach and coach after graduating college.
